There is a certain portion of America that would stick with Trump no matter what he was accused of. They simply refuse to acknowledge any possible wrongdoing by this man. He is like a deity to them. His word is 'the truth,' and if his word changes then it is 'the new truth.' Absolute loyalty to the man. In their eyes, Trump can do no wrong. If Trump does it, that makes it OK. (Shades of Nixon, except now on a mass scale.)

It is a very troubling situation for America. We need people to be loyal to our country, to our Constitution.

No one person can be held higher.

We are so many generations removed from a monarchy that these people do not understand where we must place our loyalty, nor why.

The Secret Service protected him from physical danger and also inadvertently protected him politically. Had he gone to the Capitol and been in the middle of that mess it could not be disputed that he was leading it.

Hutchinson had told the Committee a Trump aide, Anthony Ornato, had told her Trump got into the presidential limo, which was not “The Beast,” as right-wing propagandists are claiming, but an SUV, and said: “I’m the f-ing president! Take me up to the Capitol now!”

It's very simple calculus. There was absolutely no reason for Hutchinson go on national TV and perjure herself with a made up story about a person she supported. She decided to testify under oath because she finally wised up to what was going on . A lawyer provided to her by Trump told her not to testify. She fired him, and went on to do the right thing. Trump is going down for witness tampering as well. Should be a fun summer.

We won't be able to tie the tampering directly to twump. It will be a character paid from one of his illegal pacs but claiming to be working on his own. The only smart thing twump ever does is not put anything in writing, or flush anything down a toilet that might incriminate him.

Remember the main detail that no one has disputed: twump wanted to lead an insurrection of armed rioters into our Capitol. The only reason he's not on trial for murder or attempted murder right now is because his handlers got the best of him after that speech at the Elipse and got his fat ass back to the White House.
