Should an act of expression be a crime?

The stupids are all liberated now, and they get 4 years of dismantling hard-fought liberties and screaming "you fat ugly pig" because they think that insults were a PC concept.

People who have read books have to just take it for awhile.

I've said all along that one of the driving forces behind Trump's victory were angry crybabies tired of having to be polite to those they deem inferior.

ayy. That ship sailed a long time ago. The right being banned from twitter. "Fake news" being banned. The outright bias shown by the media this election cycle. I could go on and on.

Newhoo. Want this to stop? Acknoweldge Trump as the president and stop all the disruptions and we can begin using weaponized bullyciding against the ME and companies that outsource rather than wasting time kicking you while your down.

So much for all of Trump's grand proclamations that he would "unify" the nation after his election.

You admit it's more important for Trump and his followers to belittle and deride those who don't agree than it is to "make this nation great again".

Those who didn't vote for him saw through Trump's bullshit.

Sadly, too many dim bulbs didn't and now here we are.

Why are you unwilling to share your position on this issue?

Why has nobody spoken up for his cause?

Why are the Republicans here resorting only to personal attacks on me?

Why wont anyone defend Trump's position on flag burning?

You really have to ask?

Should Americans be prosecuted for expressing unhappiness with an American policy? The Nation, the people, the government, the Country?

I am very uncomfortable when a person with power starts suggesting this. Thank God for checks and balances but they are not foolproof.

Do any Trump supporters feel uncomfortable with Trump suggesting that people lose Citizenship or be put in jail for political dissent?

Depends on what that act of expression is. Be more specific counselor.

Doesn't Trump have a right to express his opinion on the matter?

As long as he doesn't do anything why are you wringing your hands over it.

You are in for a long eight years if you are going to flip out over every utterance or tweet. He is trolling you and you are falling for it. Relax Francis

This really gave me a chill today.

I have never understood those that want to prohibit flag-burning. It's like taking a piece of what it means to be an American away under the guise of "protecting" America.

There are those who would ban protesting at planned parenthood. Relax.

If its your property or if the fire threatens the property or health of others, yes. Otherwise, no.

Why not if I am merely expressing myself.

Those who burn the flag are trolls seeking to illicit reaction. They shouldn't act surprise when they get a reaction they don't like

He has a right to express his opinion, and I am not suggesting he go to jail or lose his citizenship for saying it. Did they not tech you the distinction in Paralegal school or even High School? I am saying he is unfit to be an American president. It is concerning that an American president wants to jail people for political dissent.

His desire to imprison people for political dissent does not concern you?

not at all...because I am aware of the difference between believing that should be the case (normal) and actually making that a law (unconstitutional)......but the fact you can't understand that saying it makes him unfit to be a president is somehow different than saying he should lose his citizenship, that concerns me a great deal........unless of course the difference is that rather than it being a deeply held belief, its merely another tool to try to pretend he didn't win the election........

I don't think it should legally stop him from being president, I just think intelligent Americans who understand history should not want him to be president based on his expressed lack of understanding about American values.

just summarize all his posts as "I still don't want Trump to be president"......
