Agreed it's immature. There's a reason why Trump is often portrayed as a 78-year-old baby.

Also agreed on those who live fantasy lives online with fanciful biographies and elaborate claims of wealth, success, marriage, etc.
IMO, it's very revealing about the person's levels of self-esteem and, again, maturity.

I'm somewhat like that, but I'm nothing like Trump.

I don't believe in multiple strata of truth,
but I do believe in trying to live well.

I also believe in reflecting upon oneself, as the Asians call it,
and I care about EVERYBODY living reasonably well.

Having only what one needs
and nothing else of what one wants
is existing, not living.

And many don't even have what they need.

Thus, it's not extraordinary to be somewhat of s secular materialist
while still being nothing like Trump.

Grown children, especially abusive ones, often pick that up with parents. An abusive male like yourself often picks that up from the father. If the mother is weak and doesn't fight back, then they pick that up too thinking all women are weak and can be abused into submission.

Yes, one can be a physical materialist without being as asshole like Trump.
 
Do not kill, do not steal, be kind to your neighbor, etc. have religious traditions but they are obvious secular values as well in any human society.
It's likely they had secular beginnings.

Yes, to a point. Your patterns of posting, who you like, who you don't, what phrases you keep repeating or issues that you keep reacting to, either positively or negatively, are all indicators.

Poker players look for tells. That's applied behavioral psychology.

You have over 200 messages on this forum spread over 18 days, many of which you're responded to me or me to you. Why do you think a person couldn't tell a lot about your personality over such a span? It works both and all ways to those who are open and observant.

Almost all defections from Soviet Russia, communist East Germany, and Stalinist North Korea were in the direction towards democracies. Very few defections ever went to North Korea, East Germany, or Soviet Russia.

Agreed. It's a matter of respect for others. People like Trump respect no one but themselves. They do not observe the Golden Rule.

MAGAts lie and push their views because they feel they are superior and entitled. Their views go against all American ideals.

Such people should be opposed.

Agreed human beings are attracted toward freedom. As we are seeing in the US and illeberal nations, some people seek to dominate others.
