Everything has a breaking point! And I am there!

I am struggling to try and maintain friendships with my Republican Friends right now. I am having to re-assess, re-group, and rethink.

They have all become difficult to deal with for about the last 4 years now. They have become embittered, rude, profane, and even violent in their behaviors, and getting worse every time I see them.

Since we have been on shutdown- It's been such a relief for me to not have to deal with them at all.

I believe I am going to continue to distance myself from all of them, as after looking back, they have all just taken advantage of me in some way or another. I just realized, it has always been about them anyhow, and at my expense.

I don't like those people anymore, and I don't want my relatives around them either. I am embarrassed to be associated with such people anymore.

You are wrong to think those limiting the freedoms of Americans to "Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness" is only on the Left side of the room. Which side has the "War on Drugs"? Anti-Gay and, of course, gay marriage? Abortion, "Blue Laws", bigamy and other laws limiting the freedoms of Americans? Dude, the more a political party moves towards an extreme, the more authoritarian it becomes. Democrats are just as bad.

Where does hanging for sodomy fit in there? All states used to have a law that sodomy is punishable by hanging. True story. Now I have some homo friends, and they don't bother me, but the militant fags make me think that "Hanging for sodomy" was right on the money.
