I think we should have as much government as possible. That is MY position. It's me, Liberal Public Enemy number one, you have no choice but to advocate smaller government now.

Let me get this straight,You have been “disciplining” children whom you don’t know at all, and don’t know their parents?

Well, that is beautiful Dano, and this discussion is now over. First of all, it makes no sense to talk to someone as strange as you about this, and second of all, man, it is only a matter of time before you “discipline” the wrong stranger’s kid. And when that happens, you are either going to get a boot up your ass, or worse. Beautiful, really.

You are really slow. I was talking to Desh who disciplined other kids she saw by verbally warning them. I have done the same (rarely) and they listen because kids are wary against going against strangers discipline because they don't know what to expect should they not listen.

I don't go around spanking other people's kids you moron.

It doesn't matter, you will eventually run into the kind of person who understands that you are crossing a boundary that should never be crossed.

Um no, I have never seen anyone get upset about me or anyone else warning kids to behave. That being said, it's something I hardly ever do anyway, remember it's YOUR philosophy that involves the "it takes a village", me I believe in the parents making the call for discipline, other people when really necessary and government never.

I'd be more worried about Desh if I were you.

its a pretty split decision even on this board as to who does and doesn't think its ok.. therefor people should just be left to raise their kids as they see fit and not have any law telling them what to do.
