Are they to get special training in how to handle emergency situations? Are they to be given intense background scrutiny (psych evaluations)? Who's going to pay for this, because teachers across the land are hard pressed just to keep stationary and other necessities for their classroom. Now suddenly there's money for a gun?

How about surgeons with guns lol? I know at least two [who shall remain nameless] who carry into our ‘gun free hospital’ every day. My buddy keeps his in his locker. Some women keep them in their purse in their locker.

Gun free zones are joke. People who carry ignore the sign. Psychos with guns, just ignore the sign. There’s hardly anything goofier than thinking being in a gun free zone makes you safe from guns. If you’re inclined to worry about such things.

Of the many things that need to be on the table, voluntarily armed teachers is one of them. Or we can go back to scapegoating the NRA or advocate for more gun free zones.

I think you’re right.

Did you notice the media was pretty quiet about Trumps town hall? That’s almost always a sign it was a winner. I got to see a bit of it and thought it was pretty powerful—and novel.

And yes, democrats are boxed in on it: when all you have is a hammer everything looks like a nail. Their script has one page and all they know to do is to follow it.

Meanwhile, people/voters are open to anything that works.

What necessities for the classroom? Taxes already fund book, desks, etc. It's not the taxpayer's responsibility to provide paper and pencils. That's a PARENT'S responsibility. In fact, when my children were in younger grades, the school would send out a list of items my children would need that year related to such items. I noticed that there were higher than I thought necessary numbers on many items so I asked about it to one of their teachers. The teacher said some students wouldn't bring anything so she gathered a collection in order that all would have although only a few actually brought them. I told her that I needed to know what MY child needed, I would provide it to HER, put HER name on it, and better not see/hear of another student using something with HER name on it that is was the parents of those other students that were responsible for doing it for THEIR kids, not mine.

As for the guns, I have a niece that is a teacher. She grew up learning gun safety and shooting from a young age. If she needs one, as she would meet the requirements even gun hater like you would want, I'LL provide it to her for FREE. I'll provide any ammo needed for FREE, too. Anymore questions, bitch?

I addressed TaichiPussy's concerns about training and money. Perhaps your problem is your a cunt that simply doesn't like guns and thinks because you don't no one should own them. Is that pretty much it?

Better idea is to allow some nut case uninterrupted time to slaughter innocent children. How about a sign in front of every school saying "Gun Free School Zone, if you bring a gun in here you're gonna be in real trouble" That should end the mayhem.

just curious, but how bad were your teachers to make you believe that they are so incompetent in life that the only thing they can do is give inferior academic instruction to your children?
