The first time around it may have been a mistake, this time, it’s no mistake, they know who he is, they know he is immoral. This time around they do it willingly, that isn’t decency. I look at all Trump supporters this time around through a different lens.

We will have to agree to disagree, if you still support Trump, you are not a decent person, you allow yourself to be deceived.

Yes, we disagree on this.

I refuse to maintain that people should alienate themselves from their family and friends if there is political disagreement. Presidents and policy come and go. Family is for life. And so is true friendship.

I think good people can not only make mistakes, but they can make the further mistake of refusing to admit their mistakes. This is nothing more than human nature.

Lincoln got it right. A house divided will surely fall. Putin is counting on this for the USA.

Alienation, bitter partisanship and polarization are not the building blocks of a bright productive future. Forgiveness must be part of the equation, somehow, some way, at some point.

I see no problem with maintaining a lifelong bond with family, despite their political beliefs, but leading your own life.

Family life under the Abominable President is very challenging.

He is not a good leader. Instead, he tends to drive people apart. He is very divisive and polarizing.

Having an Abominable President rips a country apart, and leaves us wanting for good leadership for the whole country, not just a vocal subset minority.

My guess is that Trump passed the ball to Pence because he knows this is going to be a catastrophe, and he will put the blame on Pence. With Pence gone, he gets to nominate Nikki Haley as his vice-president candidate for November's election...and improve his vote count among women voters.

If everything is so peachy, and the economy is the most important thing in the world to gauge that by, (the greedy rich will tell you this,) and we have a president who is given the credit for this amazing achievement, (whether deserved or not,) then why can this president not even manage to get half of the people to like him?

Trump has treated Corona as a political problem, not a medical one. His claim that we only had 15 cases and they would fade away was backed by nobody else. Trump has been dishonest and his painting a rosy picture put citizens in danger. Dr. Fauci said today the worst is yet to come. If Americans act as if Trump is right, it will get much , much worse.
The lack of testing is a serious problem. That is also on Trump's government.
Trump blew his first crisis because he cannot be objective. Everything goes through the filter of the 2020 elections.
Trump really believed it would just go away and he would claim it was because of him.

Agreed up til the Haley part. She already quit on him once. I think she's smart enough to keep her distance. She may be a candidate in '24 to unseat Biden.
