Did I stutter? He was attacked for at least presenting a "clear and present danger". We don't even know if Zimmerman said any threatening words, or racial pejoratives, because the eyewitness is no longer here. Martin had just as much right as Zimmerman to defend himself. And if Martin had shot Zimmerman, we wouldn't even be having a discussion about guilt, or Justice "deferred".

I support all of those that use self defense against a violent attacker. If it had been two black people, I would have supported the person that shot the violent attacker. If it was two white people, I would have supported the person that shot the violent attacker. If Zimmerman was black and trayvon was white, I would happily take pride in a black zimmerman shooting his violent attacker.
And in this case, I continue to support the one that defended his body against harm, when he had done nothing illegal before being violently attacked.

You clearly didn't watch the case. The State did not prove their case, they had zero evidence against zimmerman. Almost every state witness either emphatically supported zimmerman, or at the very least admitted his account was not inconsistent with the evidence. The lead detective called by the state said he believed zimmerman was being truthful. The witness professor carter talked about self defense and how he would not advise for someone to wait till they are dead to defend themselves. Multiple witnesses on behalf of the state said zimmerman did not have ill will hatred or spite (which is what you need to prove second degree murder).
No matter how much you want to believe otherwise, one has a right to use deadly force if they have a reasonable fear of grave bodily injury, death, or to stop someone from committing a forceable felony upon them.
The state presented no case, and had sparse evidence at best. Reasonable doubt was all over this. Even if you hate zimmerman, the not guilty verdict is the only just verdict that could be returned. Anyone saying otherwise is completely ignorant to the facts of the case and has zero clue as to the content of the trial.

Almost every legal analyst knew that 2nd degree murder was dead in the water after 2-3 days of trial. A lot knew before that. Everyone has talked about zimmerman being overcharged. Funny, if the same jury had found Zimmerman guilty the praise from the lefties would have been endless.

what is racist rhetoric? Not agreeing with you? Every time an african american violently assaults someone for doing nothing illegal I must defend them or I am a racist?
