The Death of Dilbert and False Claims of White Victimhood

It appears that DeSatan also wants the power to dictate to Disney what content that they produce and distribute. What's next -- telling media publishers what they can print or not print or broadcast?

Fiction. DeSantis is not dictating anything to Disney. He simply removed their self governing status. They now pay taxes to the State of Florida and must conform to the same business laws as any other business in Florida.

People are defending the obvious--privately owned newspapers can publish or not publish whatever syndicated material that they wish.
Go Woke, go broke. That's what's happened to newspaper after newspaper. They are largely irrelevant now.
My consternation about this entire issue pertains to this:

everybody wants to claim that a racist cartoonist got his just deserts, but I'm the only one who has shown any concern
for the people who enjoyed and will miss the cartoon itself.

Their feelings are just as important as those of the hypersensitive people who are offended by an obscure video that few people actually saw.
Yet you support censorship.

The comic was stupid. One joke over and over and over. Yes, Dilbert, you are a genius. Everyone around you is an idiot.

Perhaps, but it was carried because people liked it.

Woke is destroying the existence of humor in this country.
To some, it's worth it, and they're entitled to that opinion.

To me, it's clearly not worth it, and I'm equally entitled to my opinion.

You seem to know nothing about this issue. They stopped carrying his comic because of what the cartoonist said. Is this really a mind puzzler for you?!

Yet you support censorship.

I understand what censorship is, Milquetoast Macaw.

Banning somebody from your privately owned social media platform is not censorship.

Censorship is having your free speech inhibited from your OWN forum.

if you don't have your own forum, that's your problem.

It's not the video that offends us. It is the fact that this guy is a full-on, full-blown racist. I'm sorry too that I won't be buying his daily desk calendars for my husband, or reading Dilbert Classics on my subscription service. But I cannot in good conscience financially support someone like Adams. He should have just kept his big fucking yap shut and we would all be the better for it. Let's put the blame right on where it belongs -- on Scott Adams.

We liked the comic and the characters in it. If you've ever worked in the corporate world, the nutty stuff the pointy-haired boss came up with, the cliched corporate-speak, and the engineers' revenge and sarcasm and mock despair was spot-on. I'll miss the comic, but not Adams. He can go spin on a stick.

Trump knows everything. Dilbert knows everything. Scott Adams knows everything.

It was boring as shit.

You obviously don't.

Yes it is.
Censorship is having your free speech inhibited from your OWN forum.
No. Since that's not possible. If I own the forum, I can post whatever I want on it.
if you don't have your own forum, that's your problem.
I do have my own forum (I started with a friend of mine).

Telling Democrats they are racist is not racism, twit.

Whites are not to complain that we are being abused on the basis of race, nothing has changed since the days when blacks were thus abused but the victims, we have learned nothing.

Paradox. Irrational.

Censorship is when the government curbs speech/expression, like DeSantis is hoping to do with Disney. Censorship is not dropping a controversial subject/person from your business; it's a business decision. You know, like Kaep getting fired at least partially for the #TakeAKnee thing. Trump getting banned from Twitter. Dr. Seuss's family deciding to no longer publish a particular book or two.
