Their "wealth" largely is based on the last share of stock traded at times the number of shares they have. Nobody has the money to buy out all of Bezos' "wealth". It is one of the reasons Microsoft has been hoarding cash for decades--to be able to cash out Gates and the other big dollar originals should it ever become necessary without crashing the stock.
Well then I would advise you to say something satirical.
Interesting but anytime a Gates bails on his company , it would make no difference whether they had the money or not and unused money is costly. The stock would still drop as much in my opinion either way. He would put downhill pressure on the shares price if he made a force sale. Which would hardly make sense for him to do. The information of him selling out would supply the same amount of downward pressure on the price.

Vincent van Gogh paintings sell in the $80M range. If the family released all his works they hold to the market, you could afford to have one to hang in your bathroom because he repainted the same paintings so many times experimenting with the colors and such. The market cannot absorb a massive quantity of a single stock over a short period of time like that ergo last trade price X #of shares held=true wealth just isn't realistic when it comes to these billionaires, and as you yourself pointed out, losing the people who hold them at the helm could very well damage the values further. A lot of these tech stocks like facebook are extraordinarily vulnerable long term simply over the privacy issue.

Thomas is a joke. Roberts court is the most corporate of all time and Trump certainly is not trying to rebalance it. He also wants a judge who will not vote against him . Ginsberg is fine. If you listen to Supreme court cases, you would know she is an active judge who asks many important and intelligent questions. Thomas has gone many years without asking one.
Ginsberg has stated that she prefers the South African Constitution to ours, and looks to it for guidance. That in itself is impeachable. South Africa is now working to amend theirs to allow taking of land from whites in order to give to blacks.
