The Four Stages of Republican Misinformation

has anyone explained why the mother took the child out of state for an abortion when it could have legally been obtained in Ohio?.....

The abortion would have been illegal in Ohio, because there was a heart beat, and the medical situation was not an emergency yet. The social worker arranged for the child to leave the state, not the mother.

Postmodern keeps repeating lies, in the hopes that we will accept them.

Yep. First the story was a bald-faced lie. Then the physician who reported the rape and the procedure was attacked and said to be lying, and/or she didn't report it. (She did.) Then the rapist was arrested. Then the mother of the child and the physician were trying to cover it up to protect him because allegedly he is undocumented. At last the Reichwingers had to *finally* admit that not only is the story true, but Ohio's onerous anti-abortion law is what forced the child to have to travel to another state for medical care.

You would think that episodes like this would cause them to reconsider where they get their "facts" from. You would be wrong.

And in the very next post, Postmodern lies again. It is where we are as a society that valid debate is almost impossible.

The fact is there are dozens of stories of women who had to be transported out of state for life saving medical care, and there are probably already hundreds if not thousands of cases where it has happened.

We have the worst maternal mortality rates in the first world, and it just got much worse. This is going to kill women.

I'm afraid that you are right. Even though the pharmaceuticals used to induce an abortion (miscarriage) early on are effective, there are cases where not all of the pregnancy tissue is expelled. This is also true of a natural miscarriage. If the woman is afraid to get medical care, or unaware that tissue has remained behind, she risks a life-threatening infection and/or permanent sterility. Criminalizing abortions, whether surgical or chemical, is bound to increase the morbidity and mortality rate. Wait for it.

not true.....Ohio allows abortions for rape, but requires it to be reported.......Mom didn't want to report that her boyfriend had raped her daughter....

it is sad you will not admit the truth......is it because you're a lib'rul?......by the way, we have no where near the worst maternal mortality rates in the world......

Ohio allows abortions for rape

Actually, it does not. Your lies are getting old. There is an exception for pre-heart beat, and for medical emergencies, neither applied in this case.

Ohio’s six-week abortion ban failing to include a rape and incest exception

but requires it to be reported.

The rape was reported before any doctor was seen. It did not matter.

We have the worst in the first world. There are countries in Africa that have worse, but among countries similar to us, we are several times worse. The states with the abortion bans are already the worst in America, and they just got much worse.

step 1 make up a crazy story - like how we are wipping people at our borders to tug at peoples heart strings

step 2 - get a still picture to use for your story

step 3 - enlist the MSM to carry your water

step 4 - pretend only the other side lies for political gain

and in a nutshell - you have a shit stained op and his partisan bullshit

Ukraine has every right to self-defense, what it doesn't have a right to is foreign money to defend itself.

They have a right to request weapons and ammo from other countries to defend themselves. Ukraine isn't forcing NATO, Japan, Korea, Australia, New Zealand to provide them military assistance. NATO and the Pacific nations are doing it voluntarily out of rational self interest.

That doesn't mean those other nations have to supply them a single thing.

Within just a few months, there will be an abundance of stories come up about how women died needlessly, and little girls becoming pregnant, and more babies being born and left at fire stations- and foster homes being at full capacity- that even the Republicans will grow tired of watching day after day.

Give it about a year and there will be enough Senators to make Abortions legal.

The investigation may be complex, but there is no need to investigate what the Ohio law is. It does not allow for abortions in this case.
The details of the case remain unclear when to comes to whether or not the girl could have received the pills in Ohio....however, we do know now that the DNA of the arrested proves he was the father of the child....
