The Four Stages of Republican Misinformation

Within just a few months, there will be an abundance of stories come up about how women died needlessly, and little girls becoming pregnant, and more babies being born and left at fire stations- and foster homes being at full capacity- that even the Republicans will grow tired of watching day after day.

Give it about a year and there will be enough Senators to make Abortions legal.
I've not seen other stories publicized internationally...have you? The doctor who released all the info initially about the little girl in Ohio is quiet now...for her "privacy" says she...a bit too late for that wouldn't you say?....

The details of the case remain unclear when to comes to whether or not the girl could have received the pills in Ohio

It is only "unclear" because you want it to be "unclear". The law only allows one exception in the events of a fetal heartbeat, and that is a medical emergency.

The law of the case is known. It is illegal in Ohio to perform an abortion on even a 10 year old rape victim, if there is a heart beat, and it is not a medical emergency. The reason the original doctors in Ohio did not perform an abortion is that it would be a crime.

There are hundreds of new cases when women (and girls) had to be moved from one state to another, or had to wait until serious harm was being done to their body, you are not going to be able to claim they are all "unclear".

Maybe this is all worth it, but stop lying about the cost.

Document will be examined and questions answered. Do you know why they did a DNA test on the baby's remains?

A week ago, the alt right was claiming there was not even a whisper of a case, and that everything was clear. Now they are claiming publicly known laws are not publicly known?

You seem very invested into not understanding that abortion is illegal in Ohio after a fetal heartbeat, with the sole exception of a medical emergency.

If they are wasting taxpayer money rereading the law over and over again, hoping that it will be different when reread, they are wasting taxpayer money.

Do you know why they did a DNA test on the baby's remains?

What is clearly beyond any doubt is there was no baby. Could you mean the fetus? The fetus did not develop into a baby, because there was an abortion.

The reason for doing a DNA test on the fetus is to figure out who raped a 10 year old girl. How could you not understand that?

The investigation continues...Every medical, social services, police report, etc. will be reviewed...The Dr. listed a 17 year old on her report...or so it was said. Lot's of unanswered questions...for now... No one is questioning the law in this investigation that I've seen...Just everything that happened from the time Children's Services was contacted by the mother (that should be very interesting/revealing) (and of course, prior to that as well...) We shouldn't have to be discussing this little girl's situation in public...the Dr. isn't anymore... you can bet many others who might be in similar situations will be extremely worried that their doctor may announce their abortion...their rape...their family situation... to the world.

Give us one reason why you run with a party that just took away the right for a woman to choose what's right for her.

If a 10-year-old girl cannot escape the cruel machinery of the right-wing disinformation network, then there’s little hope for the rest of us trying to protect our freedom, dignity, and fragile democracy.

Conservatives' attempts to minimize, and then weaponize, the horrific story of a 10-year-old rape victim highlights their tried-and-tested four-part strategy to manufacture lies and outrage to fuel their march towards fascism.

The entire right-wing ecosystem unleashed its full arsenal to discredit the 10-year-old girl as a liar, intimidate her physician, demonize liberals, and continue its march backward, undeterred, in its quest to make Handmaid’s Tale cosplay a reality—in an America that subordinates and punishes women for having the audacity to control their own bodies.

To achieve its goal, the right uses a now familiar four-part strategy.

Fiction isn't going to work, dude.

Yep. First the story was a bald-faced lie. Then the physician who reported the rape and the procedure was attacked and said to be lying, and/or she didn't report it. (She did.) Then the rapist was arrested. Then the mother of the child and the physician were trying to cover it up to protect him because allegedly he is undocumented. At last the Reichwingers had to *finally* admit that not only is the story true, but Ohio's onerous anti-abortion law is what forced the child to have to travel to another state for medical care.

You would think that episodes like this would cause them to reconsider where they get their "facts" from. You would be wrong.

Fiction won't work, lass.

What child? The whole thing is made up.

Gerson Fuentes is being held without bond for raping a child you say does not exist. He is looking at serving quite a bit of time in prison over the rape of a child you say does not exist. You really should rush out to Ohio and get him released, if he is innocent as you claim.

There is a desperation by the alt right to disrupt any real debate. Maybe the Ohio law is worth the harm it does to some people. I do not agree with that opinion, but would be willing to debate that. Instead, we have the alt right desperately trying to claim the Ohio law does not exist, or that the victims do not exist.

I'll keep you posted with the results of the investigations and the trial...it's not so much in the news these days...the doctor isn't talking any more because she now cares about the little girl's privacy...too little too late, unfortunately...

Why would there be a trial? Night just explained that the girl did not exist. If there was no victim, there should be no trial for rape. It is physically impossible to commit rape without a victim. You should join with Night to get this innocent man released.

I for one believe he is guilty, and believe that the laws of Ohio are real.
