No, not yet. I still haven't received the master cylinder and slave unit, should be coming in the next few days. Then I have to get with my mechanic and schedule when he's coming to get it and change them, probably sometime after Christmas. And since it'll be there, I'm going to change all the fluids and go over it and make sure everything is good and tight like I do each spring.
I checked into having the car ceramic coated and that is gonna set me back about another $1000, but I'm gonna try and talk them down a bit because it's a small car and has no roof. Actually it's a supposed to be a better coating than the ceramic coating, much harder and more resistant to scratches and also has a very good UV protection. He says it takes 3 days total to have done. If I put it in the showroom, I'll have it done in the spring before the Ford at Carlisle.

New Shelby coming out

Not yet. Next summer. Looking like Skagit Valley somewhere though. Not Seattle, too much of a freak show there.

Not familiar w/ that area.. I am sure it is very beautiful there though, despite the rain.. I have gone through there heading up from Everett to Bellingham, Blaine & BC...

You already purchase a place there??

Hopefully you took a nice long vacation before all your moving prep & getting your place ready for the market..

No, just eliminating areas. Looks like it will be Skagit.

Just got back from Hawaii, golfing in AZ in Feb., Leipzig, DE in March for my father in law's 80th, back again in June for my wife's sister's wedding to her g.f., from there to Asheville, NC for 35th class reunion. Then get serious about selling the house here and buying something in WA. Busy yr. coming up!

That is a Kirkham in Polished Aluminum. One sold for $122,000 at Mecam Auctions in Harrisburg this past fall, it was a steal. But who would want to drive it though? Hitting a large bee would ruin the finish. They do build quality replicas starting at $150,000+ Shelby American also produces a continuation Cobra with continued from original VIN numbers at about the same price, all depending on the drivetrain you want.

Good morning cold as heck today.

We have one shower's faucet leaking. I changed the washer no help the problem is the seat the washer seals against. The plumber came out tried the washer and determined the whole faucet must be changed. So the good news is I'm getting a new shower faucet to replace the 50 year old one. Yea.

Mornin' all :)

Cold here too. 15 last I checked.

Happened to my kitchen faucet two years ago. One I couldn't fix myself.

Lucky for me I have an access panel so the plumbers don't have to knock a hole in the wall.

Sink and garbage disposal were accessible from under counter. And all piping down to the main in the basement was replaced, including the faucet.
It is what it is, it's all a part of home ownership.

The reason I worry about knocking holes in my walls is they are cinderblock plastered over. Makes for a strong house but a pain in the ass to install a new wall socket.

Yes, I'm sure it is. Mine aren't that bad. The divisions are narrow and well built. Just enough room for water lines and a drain, electrical space is limited too, but I can get through.

The Kirkham's and continuations look similar in body, but I've never seen a continuation in polished aluminum, although it is possible they are out there. They both build them in aluminum, but it's the Kirkhams that are more common in the polished aluminum finish. They sure are sharp, though.
