Great observations.

The problem is not with the Bible but with the interpretations of man.

Example:
If God told Israel to slay the Canaanite man woman child and beast, then that is what God told them to do.

We can think that it’s unfair or that God was unfair. But it is what it is. No need to force excuses or be willfully ignorant of difficult passages, take them absolutely literally and you wind up a person that understands penal substitution as the only path of reconciliation with the Creator.

A few thoughts for your edification: your belief, or not in a higher being, spiritualism or whatever HAS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING TO DO W/ BEING A CONSERVATIVE.....

There are millions on the left that believe in & practice as well as millions in the gop that do not, millions that have conservative "values" & do not believe in a higher power..........

Fact that you don't even know that says more about you then anyone.......
