Truman was a Democrat.

Truman, to the best of my knowledge, envisioned a universal health care policy.

LBJ passed a more modest version of health insurance for seniors only, aka Medicare. That was his accomplishment. Your hero Ronald Reagan opposed LBJ's Medicare, and if it had been left up to Reagan, you or your parents would not have Medicaid.

The only one I can think of was the formation of the EPA. Which every (R) since has tried to destroy in order to allow their real constituents -- business and industry -- to make more profits at the expense of our environment.

Conservatism has absolutely ZERO policy successes it can point to, and can only rely on shady, dark money donors to fund its campaigns because it can't win over voters with policy.
