Socialism mixed with capitalism is one of the most successful economic schemes we have. The most prosperous countries on the planet utilize it, including the United States.

I'm assuming, of course, that you mean "socialism" in the sense that it's most commonly used when talking politics, not the economic system where the government controls the means of production.
 
The Democrats have successfully built a whole new class in the Country. The DEPENDENT CLASS. The Dependent class has figured out that by having Free Healthcare, Subsidized housing, free food, free internet access, a free Obama phone, and some cold hard cash put into their hands every month that they actually come out WAYYYYY BETTER then some entry level poor bastard actually WORKING at a Home Depot does. Better yet,....they dont even have to get off the couch to get it ! Which leads to millions of people saying...." Wait a minute,...WHY should I work my shitty job when I dont have to" Its a fucking recipe for disaster is what it us.....

Then what Domestic terrorism are you talking about that you think Republicans went after? Do you mean going after Fred Hampton and the Black Panthers? They weren't domestic terrorists either, they were just Black.

Nope. It involves everyone chipping in so that we can have nice things that we all share. Free public education. Highways. Clean air and water, food inspections, safe drugs. Libraries. Police and fire depts. Food, housing, and health care in case we lose our jobs or some other financial disaster strikes. Social security money and health care when we retire so our kids don't have to support us. The stuff of civilization.

As a resident of Atlanta, I pay an extra $500 a year in taxes so the "very fine people" who live in MTG's part of the state can cosplay rugged individualism.

Atlanta metro pays 51% of the taxes in Georgia, but only gets 37% of the spending.

The dependent welfare leeches live in districts like MTG's...that's where all the subsidizing is happening. Those parts of the state could not exist on their own without the support of my part of the state.

But we could definitely live without them...they don't support us, we support them.

'terrorism', or any links to it, are conveniently defined by the government, so after the patriot act was established is should have been no surprise that the rest of GWs time as president, that the act was used over 1,000 times to go after drug dealers and only a dozen times for actual terrorist related issues
