That is not true. First off, if bail is denied, they do not get out at all. To get bail, they need to wait for an arraignment. It is tough to get bail with many violent crimes.

I will call this argument 1.

Getting rid of CASH bail usually means that it is harder to get bail for violent criminals. We are allowing violent criminals out of prison, even ones with history of not showing up for court dates, for a few bucks in bail.

Violates federal law, dude.

For instance, Christie's niece attacked and injured 6 police officers. She had a history of jumping bail, and intended to leave the state if bailed out, and still she was released on cash bail of less than $10k within hours of committing her crime. That was Louisiana, and she had money, so it did not matter that she is a violent criminal.
