Ron DeSantis is the GOVERNMENT.

He is using fascist tactics simply because he was mad Disney spoke out against his push of fascist laws. He had NO ISSUE with Disney prior to that.

He had the same issue with Cruise lines and Restaurants and other business who object to the government trying to run their businesses and deny them voice and choice.

Once upon the time the GOP was the party of small government and minimizing the regulation of businesses and individuals and now that party is gone. ALL of these pushes are fascistic pushes to shut down the 1st amendment rights and the right of business to establish their own 'Terms of Service'.

And you derps applaud it the entire way.


This fascistic push is killing DeSantis push to replace Trump as the next POTUS as even now other republicans are abandoning him. That is the only positive here as there is only a small percent of Trumps base who rationalize these fascist moves as good and the rest of the country sees them as they are.

So, i am actually glad DeSantis played his fascist hand too early. If he was smarter he could have hid until after the primaries and GE and had a real chance to win both. Now he will win neither.

DeSantis removed Disney's special status. They are now like any other business in Florida. The 1st amendment does not apply to the States. DeSantis is following the 14th amendment, which DOES apply to States. He is not preventing Disney from saying what it wants. He DID outlaw the sexual perversions that Disney wants to push though.
