Trump will have to have a deficit of more than $10T before Obama loses it.......Remember when Obama ran against Bush saying it was terrible that Bush doubled the deficit from $5T to $10T?.......(which he did cutting taxes, by the way).......Obama raised taxes just like the demmycrats want now, and he doubled the deficit from $10T to $20T.......why do they pretend cutting taxes is the problem when they raised taxes and did worse?......

actually Obama raised the debt more than every president before him COMBINED, including Reagan, and both Bushes.......
 
The United States is the economic center of the world; we have sovereignty over the most widely accepted currency on the planet. I would argue that we can afford to do basically whatever we want, so long as inflation is kept in check. This seems to be the de-facto view of both parties, despite partisans continuing to claim that we can't afford things they just personally happen to dislike (e.g., border walls and military spending on the Democratic side, and universal healthcare on the Republican side).

dude, you've elected two presidents in the last 40 years....both of them won because they campaigned that they weren't George Bush and the country was going through a recession.....the last one doubled the national debt.......you lose elections because after 250 years you still haven't figured out how the electoral system in the United States actually works.......I think you had better take a closer look at which party is full of shit.......

Bush took office with a national debt of about 6 trillion, when his final budget was completed, the national debt was 12 trillion. Again the party of small government and balanced budgets. Fuck off

the actual numbers were $5T and $10T which means he also doubled the national debt........and then Obama did it again........
