The Patriots

Cool...and for the stripey one...who challenged me to provide a village...
see: www.1cda.org/VN beer Break.htm

If he identifies the village he has my answer...lol and yes beards were the norm!...lol and I used the 7th cav as a example...I said I was with the 1st and 2nd...

I asked for the names of the villages you were stationed at, not photos you found on the net... so you failed. You should have given them to me when I asked for them, not three days later.

Did you have fun googling looking for those?

Nice photo...

So long as it wasn't me it was kosher. I promised that dude I personally wouldn't do so, but told him that the users may do it without urging. I was right. It took longer than I thought though...

:D

oops... I invited all my pals... :clink: I've never heard of a forum that didn't want to grow though...

more from The Patriots home page:

...snip

We Patriots are "conservative" inasmuch as we are devoted to the Constitution, to limited government, and to fiscal responsibility.

As conservatives, we oppose NAFTA, the WTO, and the SPP /NAU as being contrary to our sovereignty, antidemocratic, and against the interests of the American people. We support the 2 nd Amendment right of the people to bear arms in order to deter and, if necessary, resist tyranny. We oppose illegal immigration and "amnesty" as means by which the corporate elite exploit immigrants and depress the wages of all working Americans. We oppose the intrusion of government in our religious and private lives. We oppose our nation becoming entangled in foreign military ventures not essential to our national security.

As conservatives, we define "national security" narrowly, meaning the protection of our nation, our borders, and our people - and excluding the financial "interests" of multinational corporations and global investors. This is not isolationism, for we support international law and the creation of international institutions which serve the needs of humankind by promoting cooperation on global issues such as disease, pollution, and warfare which do not respect national boundaries. We want the United States to be a responsible, respected member of the family of nations. But we will not seek imperial expansion through aggressive wars to make client states. Nor will we surrender our sovereignty to "trade organizations" like the WTO seeking to turn us into a third world country.

...snip

How about you? Do you agree or disagree?

Sounds to me like Dr Bowman doesn't like the TriLateral Commission. And he also expounds the brand of conservatism I used to support before bush took office... I like him... too bad he isn't running for president.

I never saw myself as a conservative in any way shape or form but I see a lot of things we have in common. Surrendering national sovereignity was never a Liberal ideal and neither was making war where no war was needed. There is a lot to this guy. Too bad that he doesn't have a wider audience.

Was that wrong and not kosher?

If it wasn't wrong, then I will take some of the credit! lol :D

I honestly thought it would help! Even taking the good with the bad.

Let me know if it didn't meet message board protocol, so I don't repeat my mistakes!

--------------------------------------------------

And yes, from the very beginning on Politics.com you consistently supported this kind of "thinking", sticking with the Constitution etc.

Care

Care, I'm glad that you did. I have been saying that I wish we had some other females posting here, because you're hardly ever around, and when Tiana was on vacation, I was choking on the testosterone. :)

Um... No... I'll leave it alone.

"I hope this is not a EWWWW moment Damo!"

I was right there with him. But it was too easy. You should know by now that men are juvenille when it comes to jokes like this. You should be impressed that he resisted the urge. :D

Really? I totally did not see the double meaning in that one until he said that. You guys are worse than I thought! ;)

You're off ignore for a moment

Tan Son Nhut, Vinh Long, Bien Hoa, Lai Khe, Ham Tan, Bu Dop, Cu Chi... I remember their names because I was there. You say you were there and yet fail to give any names except for that one stateside base...

You may have these fine folks fooled into believing your horse pucky war stories but when you were unable to provide me with the names of the bases from which your unit operated when I asked for them... pfffffffft... nothing but a GD poser...

you may have been in the military but you sure as hell weren't IN Viet Nam... unless of course, you have alzheimers... I will cut you some slack if that's your problem... is it?

Really now Mr.AF...you were at these locations...humm alot of AF traffic on short fields...now say again you were there...what was your mos again...???unless ya were 'search and rescue' which I doubt since ya already said ya were supply! I think ya are the Bs'er of all times...as I said I was never attached to any 'Village' as I did combat research...which is still classified so I really can't answer your demands...unless I want to do time..I think not Mr.AF Bs'er...

Side note: to play fair I am willing to submitt my DD214 with 'personal'info blacked out for obvious reasons to Damo..as I trust him..you do the same and we will see who is Bs'in who...fair enough???...Put up or shut up with this already!
