The problem of evil

Nothing you say is clear. You are a hate troll.

No, it's abundantly clear. But you don't have the reading skills necessary. That's on you. Not me. You couldn't even understand that I'm an atheist after I said I was an atheist.

Your reading skills kinda suck actually.

Right, you constantly talk about Christianity and you don't believe any of it. You're fucking nuts.

As I said, it is clear you are unfamiliar with Christianity at it's base. It's super hard to not wish punishment on evil doers, but as a Christian one is asked to "love thy neighbor" and "resist not evil but turn the other cheek".

That's the coolest aspect of Christianity in my opinion. It's also the hardest and why people have so much difficulty with it. It is truly probably the most REVOLUTIONARY thing about Christianity.

But it resides in self-awareness. The ultimate core concept is that NONE OF US are good people. We ALL fall short of the ideal. And that NO ONE "earns" salvation but that it is a gift freely given by God via his "Grace".

For an atheist like myself the best part of "grace" is that I can give it to others. And others can give it to me. Because NONE OF US are perfect or good people. We all have the ability to hurt and be hurt.

The best we can do is show "Grace" to each other and "forgive" our enemies....no matter how vile they are.

THAT is why Christianity is so hard.
^^ Perry claims I have a character flaw for wanting the mass murderer Joseph Stalin to have been held accountable.

I had family relatives arrested and held in the Gulag, Perry. You can forgive Stalin if you want. That's your choice!

So you don't know about Jesus command to love your enemy and resist not evil but turn the other cheek?

Then why do you always talk about Christianity like you "know" something about it? Clearly you don't even know the basic concept.

No it's not. It's everyone's thread. It would be psychotic to think you own a thread.

You don't.

Now please stick to the topic.
My thread you psycho. I can request you get banned. My god, you need serious psychiatric intervention.

You say you are a Christian then say you are an atheist. Which is it, Perry?

Then there is no difference. Law is enforceable, morality is not.
it all depends on the societies commitment to enforce the morality.

at some point the totalitarianism necessary to enforce all morality becomes the sin itself.

at some point morality is a choice because the chooser sees it is smart.

societies have tried to enforce many more aspects of morality.

this leads to stoneing of adulterers and homosesexuals and stuff like that.

In our current western world, I would say the most egregious moral violations become law in our society.

and we all generally agree with that I feel.

if law is not about morality what is it about?

You say you are a Christian then say you are an atheist. Which is it, Perry?

I never said I was a Christian. I USED TO BE one. Which is why I seem to know more about Christianity than just about anyone else on this thread.

I am utterly fascinated at how bad your reading skills are. Were you a special needs student?
