Only away from the marginally employable and stupid. If you have an actual decent level of education and training in some technical skills then automation, robotics, and AI represent job opportunities, not job replacement. If on the other hand you are stupid, poorly educated, and have no skills, and can learn them then you are hit. Your job is going away and not coming back.

Pays pretty well. So does building them and programming them. I guess you forgot what happened as recently as the PC industry, the internet industry, online sales and services, etc. Whole industries created out of nothing but innovation and hard work.

I'll gladly use a backhoe to dig a trench rather than use a shovel to do it.

Easy availability of birth control means that even if people have intercourse, they will not have a lot of children. Many countries around the world are having actual falling populations.
