The Republican Party’s violence problem

THe destruction of America in 2021 was so much worse than 2020, the radicals are burning America down from both the top and bottom so that UTOPIA can spring from the ashes.

That would be the destruction in your own twisted and depleted mind at being another worthless, ignorant and mentally incompetent toilet case on society. Consider some facts versus your gutter trolling fiction:

U.S. economy accelerated at a solid 6.5% rate last quarter

Fueled by vaccinations and government aid, the U.S. economy grew at a solid 6.5% annual rate last quarter in another sign that the nation has achieved a sustained recovery from the pandemic recession. The total size of the economy has now surpassed its pre-pandemic level.

Thursday’s report from the Commerce Department estimated that the nation’s gross domestic product — its total output of goods and services — accelerated in the April-June quarter from an already robust 6.3% annual growth rate in the first quarter of the year. The quarterly figure was less than analysts had expected, but the economy was likely held back mainly by supply shortages in goods, components and labor.

For all of 2021, the economy is expected to expand perhaps as much as 7%. If so, that would be the strongest calendar-year growth since 1984. And it would mark a sharp reversal from last year’s 3.5% economic contraction — the worst in 74 years — as a result of the pandemic.

In a statement, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said that the "GDP data are further proof of the remarkable progress we’ve made in jump-starting our economy from one of the darkest moments in its history."

"With today’s numbers, the U.S. economy has now made up the losses of the last 18 months and surpassed the pre-pandemic GDP peak," she continued. "In doing so, we’ve grown our economy the first half of this year at the fastest rate in almost four decades, created three million new jobs, and halved new jobless claims."

"Simply put, because of President Biden’s leadership, America is on the move again," Psaki said, crediting the president's policies for outperforming a Congressional Budget Office report which predicted "real GDP would be 3% below its pre-pandemic peak at this time."

"Thanks to shots in arms and checks in pockets, we’ve been able to far outstrip that and power a recovery twice as fast as after the last recession," she added."

Biden to hold signing ceremony on Monday for bipartisan infrastructure bill

(CNN)President Joe Biden will sign the bipartisan infrastructure bill on Monday during a ceremony that will include members of Congress, governors and mayors from both parties, the White House announced on Wednesday.

"At the signing ceremony, the President will highlight how he is following through on his commitment to rebuild the middle class and the historic benefits the Bipartisan Infrastructure Deal will deliver for American families," according to a news release from the White House.
Biden will also host "representatives of the incredibly diverse coalition that pushed for the bill across the country" during Monday's ceremony, the White House said.
Congress passed the $1.2 trillion bill last week after months of agonizing negotiations among congressional Democrats."

This, good people of JPP, is a thread composed by our very own McpuddingpantsPresident. This is his take on history education. Now, he purports to educate us on the origins of fascism in Germany. Not a thought given to the Treaty of Versailles and the crippling reparations from WW1 or even the onset of the great depression. Nah, just a bunch of alienated dregs too insecure to "learn new skills". Time for some remedial history.

In response to callinectes, what a despicable, uncouth and asininely deranged thing to say. You have a terrible problem at being drowned in a cesspool of stupidity and a derangement syndrome.

But you're too much of a pussy to reply quote him?

:rofl2:

There are moments when Republican politicians grow a bit uneasy at their supporters’ thirst for violence, particularly when it’s aimed at them. After Jan. 6, one Republican member of Congress wrote about a colleague who voted to overturn the election because they “feared for family members, and the danger the vote would put them in,” if they didn’t give in to the mob. The Republican leader in the Pennsylvania state Senate said last December that if she didn’t support Trump’s efforts to overturn the state’s election results, “I’d get my house bombed tonight.”

All of this is being investigated. The 9/11 Commission didn't issue their report of terrorism until July 2004. I'd give the 1/6 Commission at least 18 months (JUL22) to produce results of what happened and who is responsible.

Seriously? Which was the last big fire? Date and place?

Yeah, it's "the Republicans" who rioted for over a year, nationwide ,and who are filling our Democrat-run Urban Shit Hole streets with blood every weekend....

It's not the Republicans who seek to charge American parents as "domestic terrorists" for pushing back against the racisst indoctrination of their children...we see who the REAL FASCISTS ARE.

Indeed.

BLM leader threatens violence and blood on the streets if the new mayor of NYC returns to arresting thugs with guns.

The Republican Party has a violence problem.

Or perhaps “problem” isn’t quite the right way to put it, if that implies that there are negative political consequences for the role that violence — and more importantly, the threat of violence — plays in the party’s political identity and the way its officials encourage and channel the urges of their supporters.

The GOP is a fascist party. No joke.

why are the violent attacks on Minneapolis, Portland, Kenosha, Seattle by antifa and BLM Republican problems......

That pretty much describes all right wingers, and the reason for them to oppose renewable energy.
Agreed and not just renewable energy. Trump's base, the poorly educated, are Luddites who hate all new tech and want to turn the clock back to the 1950s.

These fucking morons think returning textile and crude manufacturing jobs will "Make America Great Again...Again".

this is actually a good point to think about...........did anyone ever notice that when a civilian is arrested for a crime, it's usually pretty quickly after said crime was committed and then a trial happens pretty quickly after that, but if government breaks the law, or a government agent breaks the law while operating in a government role..........it takes YEARS to determine anything?

They'll be shot down in the streets just like white supremacist cocksuckers. America needs to take a stand against domestic terrorists.

Thanks for admitting Trump broke the law with his rally and coup attempt.

Plane crashes take a year to investigate. You are mixing a local arrest for a weenie wagger with a Federal investigation involving abuse of power, death of American citizens and an attempted coup.
