Public beaches - unnecessary
Public busing - privatize it
The CIA - part of defense not socialist
Federal student loans - privatize it
The court system - not socialist
Dams - privatize those
Public defenders - unnecessary
Disability insurance - privatize it
Dept of Energy - unnecessary get rid of it
I could go through the whole list, but it's not really necessary. Most of what's on it could be done away with, privatized, or isn't a "Socialist" function of government.

Public beaches are a luxury not a primary function of government.
Amber alerts are something government does as another luxury. They only exist because the technology to allow them to happen exists. I'd estimate that 98%+ of those receiving one will do nothing with the information and it will be nothing but an annoyance and distraction for them.
Public defenders are a courtesy of government. If the legal system were more open, liars... err, lawyers would not be expensive and you could easily afford one if you wanted one.
Department of Energy. Not a function of government. There's no need for one. There are some small parts of the DoE that are necessary, but not a cabinet level position.

As with the public defenders, that's Capitalism for you. Hence the need for public defenders.

That's different from a general public alert system that notifies the public at random that a child is missing. You are notifying upwards of millions about something all but a few, already involved for the most part, will never get involved in.
No, public defenders came about because poor defendants couldn't afford a lawyer and our legal system said they were entitled to one. The primary reason they couldn't afford one is the legal system is a closed shop one that drives the price of doing business in it up dramatically.
That would be the EPA, not the DoE. The Department of Energy doesn't make regulations on pollution.

You can opt out of getting notifications. I have not received any notifications in a long time. Also out of millions of people, there are always people who have seen the children in question.
Hence the program being necessary. They have the right to their representations.

Not many, the purpose of them is to provide the best service while delivering the same service to everyone, there is a reason that medicine isn’t strictly private, nor education, otherwise we would further deteriorate into money dictates what you get, and that ain’t America

Equity is a core tenet of communism. I saw it fully implemented, - up close and personal - during my visits to the DDR (Communist East Germany) when I visited East Berlin in the mid-1980's. "Equity" worked like a charm in the DDR, the government made sure that everyone ended up at the same place; the only problem was that that place was called "MISERY" not "UTOPIA."

Disability insurance is part of Social Security, the largest Ponzi scheme in history.
The EPA should be shut down after Obama militarized it and used it to circumvent congress to make his own laws.
The FBI has been proven to be corrupt and an arm of the DNC to stage a soft coup .
I get no benefit from Medicaid.
Medicare is worthless in Alaska. Very few providers accept it. Those that do are desperate or those doc-in-a-boxes. All that money I paid into it over my lifetime has been completely wasted.
I get no benefit from welfare.
USPS is a dinosaur that stays in financial trouble. Ever go to a post office to mail a box? There's always at least one clerk "on break". FedEX and UPS are far more reliable.
Police depts. in democrat run cities have had their wings clipped. They're not allowed to do their jobs. The mayors and DA's are pro-criminal , anti-police. May as well not have them.
The only vaccine the gubmint paid for was ineffective.
A lot of that "socialism" could be cut.
