In 2008 and 2012 those accusations could have done some real damage to Biden but she stayed mum. Her inconsistency bothers me.

Sorry rightys, this is at worst up in the air, There are plenty of problems in Reades charge. She has to make official charges before we get serious. Biden does not have a history at abusing women, he is not Trump. He has never confessed to grabbing women by the pussy like Trump. He has not been caught cheating on his wives and wedding vows like some other people. I do not know if it is true, but he is a Dem. That means he will pay bigly if the charges get serious. The Dems do not nominate such people willfully. He would be punished politically. Ask Franken.

The population of San Luis Obispo, CA according to the 1990 census was just under 42,000. The timing is consistent with Reade's story. It would be an extremely improbable coincidence if the caller were somebody other than Tara Reade's mother. While we should not blindly accept that, we should also resist deluding ourselves.

After almost 30 years, this story comes out just before the election campaign. Pretty lucky timing for the rightys. Biden has a long time, well-earned reputation for fighting for women's rights. This is way out of character for Biden. Some of the stories she told have changed. Nobody knows if it is true It is being investigated.
Biden has never been accused of stepping out on his wives. He has never been caught covering up stories about sexual transgressions. This is such an outlier that it needs to be checked carefully and honestly.

Juanita Broaddrick's inconsistencies and lack of corroboration don't seem to stop you from believing her. As you said, "There weren't any accusations; they were all proven facts." Isn't it hypocritical to believe Broaddrick but not Ford?

So Susan Lewis, Louis Ma, David Broaddrick and Jean Darden; all people who had corroborated Broaddrick's account are liars?

Clinton, having a history of philandering, was more credible than Kavanaugh?

Blasey Ford's own named witnesses stated they had no recollection of her accounts. You really think this is comparable?

Back to the thread premise; my argument is that if Democrats demanded that Blasey Ford's lie filled accounts must be believed, why then do they ignore Tamara Reids?
