This is way out of character for Biden. Some of the stories she told have changed. Nobody knows if it is true It is being investigated.
Biden has never been accused of stepping out on his wives. He has never been caught covering up stories about sexual transgressions. This is such an outlier that it needs to be checked carefully and honestly.

I agree that it would be out of character for Biden; I have long supported him specifically because I believe he's a decent man capable of great compassion and empathy. The idea of him being a rapist is inconceivable to me. That being said, the call to Larry King in August 1993 shows that something happened to Reade, and that it was serious enough to consider bringing to the press. We now also have a former neighbor of Reade backing up the story. What am I supposed to make of these facts?
