No they do not.

We are speaking of federal and state income taxes.

We hear the left saying over and over that the wealthy must pay their fair share.

So does the poor. There is no free lunch. Someone pays for the taxes that the poor do not pay.

Tax the poor, it’s only fair.

It is idiocy to tax people in poverty or just above it



That society will suffer from these human sufferings

They dont just go into a vacuum


They reverberate throughout the society


Sociopathy doesn’t make them disappear

Poor people have far less disposable income. They spend almost all their money on basic necessities like food and shelter. Raising taxes on they might throw them in the streets. We already have millions of Americans who have food fears. They are eating poorly and live in quiet desperation. They have no political power, so the comfortable are free to hate them.
America blames people for their life circumstances. The strongest indicator of future wealth is the income strata you were born into. The only reason Trump has money is he was born into it.
