The Trinity

This should be a good one for the Bible literalists to explain.

What is this Trinity thing? Is it polytheism or not? When did the NT authors come up with that concept and why? Wasn’t just a single god sufficient? What’s the need for three? Can’t one god handle all its responsibilities?

There are quite a few bizarre concepts in the Bible, but this one is near the top. May be number one!

Is Gaia threatened by Jesus? Is that why you are so compulsive in attacking other people's religion? Because you know that the religion you follow is moronic, cave man idiocy? Gaia worshippers have to know what fools they are, I suppose the only way to build yourself up is by tearing others down.

its a pity you aren't smart enough to carry an argument.....you remind me of Dickless Dutch.....

I am just fascinated at a "Christian" who is so threatened by others who know the Bible as well.

I think what scares you isn't what I know but rather the fact that I can see you for what you are.

I’m not really sure what the fuck you’re talking about. Pretty sure you don’t either.

Know where the Christian god came from? Yahweh was the god of storms. Kind of a minor god. Finally got combined with El to become a single god and even inherited his wife. Pretty slick move, don’t you think?

So, pally boy, you worship a storm god who stole his own step mother.

I know where the goddess of the caveman morons from the Church Of Gaia and the holy Anthropogenic Global Warming comes from. Initially Greek Mythology - but you AGW cultists had to make it even stupider - with your idiocy that the planet is sentient and punishing us for our carbon sins (and not submitting to absolute rule by the elite.)

AGW cultists like you follow the most primitive and childish religion of all - you are in no position to besmirch ANYONE else's religion. Not even the Jehovah's Witnesses.

Hope you aren't dismissing Matthew 7:1... Christians always seem to conveniently forget that one.
Eh. I remember that one just fine.

The issue that I personally run into is that non-Christians (heck, even plenty of self proclaimed Christians themselves) always seem to quote that passage out of context, without any regard for what the rest of The Bible says.

It's much too easy to pick out a single passage and attempt to discern it without any/enough regard to The Bible as a whole.

Jesus wasn't killed, according to New Testament tradition

Well that's an insanely stupid lie.

I agree the concept of the trinity itself can't be justified logically

Meh, you're just attacking a rival religion. Gaia worship is far more stupid than Christianity. Y'all think dirt and rock floating in space is "sentient," and that carbon dioxide is a pollutant. Here is a little hint for you anti-science cultists - without CO2 - all life on earth ends.

I never said anything about the Jehovah’s Witnesses, you fucking idiot. I was referring to the god of the ancient Israelites, who became the god of the Old Testament, who became your Christian god. That god was no different from the pantheon of other mythologies, including the Greeks.

It’s just that your god morphed from a minor storm god to a more important one of many to a monotheistic one. Why do you think the commandment exists about worshipping no other god? Because the ancient Israelites DID worship other gods. Lots of them.

So, fucktard, your god is nothing special. No more than any other. Built on myths, just like all of them. Gods created in man’s image.
