The Trump Presidency Is Over

Whatever you say negro ....

Gosh ! I didn't know that Guano was a "Never Trumper" darkie from Africa ? I thought he was a Jew, and Jews all look pretty white to me
.

If Guano is a gentleman of colour that would explain a lot about the bird-brained content in his posts, especially if he was a Sub-Saharan jungle-bunny. Their average IQ = 70 points which is the threshold for mild mental retardation in the West (?)

Biden has a horrible voting record, he comes off as weak and confused all the time, and he lacks the independent support needed to win. If the DNC nominates a business-as-usual establishment hack with no independent support, it's going to be 2016 again.

But compared with your German fatman with his war on imaginary foreign viruses he comes over as a major statesman and ought to walk it amongst the dying trumpers.

he also would have had a good chance of losing all except two or three states.......put it this way......even James Carville wouldn't have voted for him......

Out of Bernie, Biden, and Trump, the one with the most independent support is Bernie. And independent voters are how general elections are won.

Hello guno,

It has taken a good deal longer than it should have, but Americans have now seen the con man behind the curtain.

Trump is fundamentally unfit—intellectually, morally, temperamentally, and psychologically—for office. For me, that is the paramount consideration in electing a president, in part because at some point it’s reasonable to expect that a president will face an unexpected crisis—and at that point, the president’s judgment and discernment, his character and leadership ability, will really matter.

Mr. Trump’s virulent combination of ignorance, emotional instability, demagogy, solipsism and vindictiveness would do more than result in a failed presidency; it could very well lead to national catastrophe. The prospect of Donald Trump as commander in chief should send a chill down the spine of every American.

It took until the second half of Trump’s first term, but the crisis has arrived in the form of the coronavirus pandemic, and it’s hard to name a president who has been as overwhelmed by a crisis as the coronavirus has overwhelmed Donald Trump.

The president reportedly ignored early warnings of the severity of the virus and grew angry at a CDC official who in February warned that an outbreak was inevitable. The Trump administration dismantled the National Security Council’s global-health office, whose purpose was to address global pandemics; we’re now paying the price for that. “We worked very well with that office,” Fauci told Congress. “It would be nice if the office was still there.”

That sounds like high intelligence talking. And I agree with every word of the article. This guy knows what he is talking about.

DT has faced his first major crisis, and he has failed miserably. He is a very dangerous leader. His irresponsibility to the demands of his office cannot be ignored.

The never-Trumpers were right. I applaud them.

Not, I think, if they've got many decades of McCarthyite brainwashing working against them - or at least it will be dicey, whereas the need to get rid of the senile Fatman is desperate. I'd prefer the first myself, obviously.

nah, he's a blithering moron. nevertrumpers are babies throwing tantrums.

It's time to restore dignity, honor, and sanity back to the White House.

Agreed. Unfortunately neither party has anyone to do it. Therefore, unless he drops dead from Coronavirus (and given his speech the other night I think he has it) Trump will probably win in November.

That said, Congress may see a dramatic change with the Senate swinging Left and the House further Left. The Republicans have spent over a decade bitching about Obamacare yet have repeatedly failed to provide a better option. Trump was pushing to cut funding to CDC and NIH with only mild resistance from the Republican Senate. Depending on how hard various states are hit over the next six weeks, I think some may be seeking regime change in their own states, including National reps, in November.

Trump could very well be reelected and facing a Democratic Senate and House.

the country saw dems lie four years straight about everything. they're done as a party.

We'll all know in November. :)

Meanwhile, I'm hoarding a few cases of Corona to have a party on Cinco de Mayo. I think it'll be a memorable one!

No, that's not true. The real problem is for Bernie. He has advocated replacing our health care system. Union members who have fought long and hard, possibly gone on strike to get what they could, and have given up on higher salaries in negotiations to get their health care packages, are not about to want to give that up and vote for replacing our whole health care system.

Bernie's message is correct. It is exactly what we need. and he is right that we need a revolution to get it. Unfortunately his message has not been adopted by enough people to create the revolution it requires. He needs near universal support for universal healthcare and he doesn't have it. It is not how strongly those who support him feel about it, it is how many do not support him.

Democrats need to unite behind one candidate. Like him or not, Biden is the man. It's time to give up on Bernie.

Left leaning independents say they will vote for whomever the Democratic nominee is, over DT.
