They do. They're only voting for Biden because they incorrectly think Biden has a better chance of winning the general election.
lol......
They do. They're only voting for Biden because they incorrectly think Biden has a better chance of winning the general election.
Why do you say that?
Biden has a horrible voting record, he comes off as weak and confused all the time, and he lacks the independent support needed to win. If the DNC nominates a business-as-usual establishment hack with no independent support, it's going to be 2016 again.
Translation: "Wahhhhh!!!!! I want my unca' Bernie!!!!! He promised me fwee pwesents!!!!! Waaaaahhhhhh!!!!!"

So you're saying the spoiled, entitled little sore-loser Bernie-Bots are going to sit home and pout?
The Bernie or Busters are pathetic spoiled brats who need to grow up and accept that they won't always get the best choice. Sometimes you have to be an adult and accept the lesser evil.
However, there are also lots of Independents who just don't see much of a difference between Trump or Biden. Some of them maybe see a difference but just don't care to go outside and vote for someone they only kinda think is better than Trump. The candidate who wins is the one with the passionate supporters who will make damn sure that they vote. Obama won twice because he had the passionate support and the independent vote. McCain and Romney were the lesser evils to many Republicans and Independents, but they weren't able to excite enough people to actually get out and vote.
I think anyone, Liberal or otherwise, who thinks Biden isn't the lesser evil to Trump is dumb as shit. But like it or not, Biden will not win because he doesn't have the independent vote or the excitement from the Left.
Most people don't vote based on who the lesser evil is, like they should. Most people vote based on who they like. With that being said, Biden won't win because not enough people like him. Right now, the people claiming to support him are only doing so because they think Bernie can't beat Trump. They're not Biden supporters, they're just anti-Trump.

Anyone who thinks there's not much difference between Biden and Trump or that Biden is nothing more than the lesser evil is dumb as shit in my estimation.
The passion Biden will have going for him is the passion to get Trump as far the fuck away from the White House and our government as possible.
That's a strong sentiment, or has been in the past, but the strongest sentiment in this election is to get rid of DT. That is the number one concern for liberals.
I wasn't always this pragmatic. But I learned a big lesson when I voted for Ralph Nader and then GWB got elected instead of Al Gore. Sure, I want to improve things. But I don't want to make them worse before I can make them better. That's why so many people who were lukewarm on Biden are now behind him.
It has taken a good deal longer than it should have, but Americans have now seen the con man behind the curtain.
Trump is fundamentally unfit—intellectually, morally, temperamentally, and psychologically—for office. For me, that is the paramount consideration in electing a president, in part because at some point it’s reasonable to expect that a president will face an unexpected crisis—and at that point, the president’s judgment and discernment, his character and leadership ability, will really matter.
Mr. Trump’s virulent combination of ignorance, emotional instability, demagogy, solipsism and vindictiveness would do more than result in a failed presidency; it could very well lead to national catastrophe. The prospect of Donald Trump as commander in chief should send a chill down the spine of every American.
It took until the second half of Trump’s first term, but the crisis has arrived in the form of the coronavirus pandemic, and it’s hard to name a president who has been as overwhelmed by a crisis as the coronavirus has overwhelmed Donald Trump.
The president reportedly ignored early warnings of the severity of the virus and grew angry at a CDC official who in February warned that an outbreak was inevitable. The Trump administration dismantled the National Security Council’s global-health office, whose purpose was to address global pandemics; we’re now paying the price for that. “We worked very well with that office,” Fauci told Congress. “It would be nice if the office was still there.”

Hello StoneByStone,
No, it's not just that.
I like Bernie. I want all the things he's talking about and more. But I can also see there is just not enough support for all of that. It would never get through Congress. So electing Bernie is no solution. I have to be pragmatic. We can't just go from origination point to destination without taking the trip. It's a long road to those goals. Unfortunately, for now, that road leads thru Joe Biden.
But I'm really glad Bernie is out there spreading his message, and I sent him money. I will continue to support politicians who favor that philosophy, such as AOC, who will be old enough to run for President in 2024.

Your goals are obviously socialism.
Which is worse, socialism or plutocracy?????????????????????
Unfortunately, people don't vote against candidates, they vote for candidates. So just wanting to get rid of Trump probably won't be enough.

There is no difference. In socialism, only the government is wealthy, because they stole the wealth from everyone else.
