Well said. Have you noticed that the minority groups who are demonized seems to change from generation to generation? Black people used to be the main targets when we were growing up. Now it's Hispanics. Gays were vilified for decades; now it's trans people. Many Xtians seem to hate everyone who isn't also of their sect -- atheists, Muslims, Jews, even Catholics.

It's almost as if hate is inborn in us and we have to struggle to overcome it. A lot of people never manage.

Every generation has a chance to be better than the previous one. Fear and hatred are huge limiting factors in social integration.

Everyone should ask themselves: "How can I be better than my parents?"

That's what makes a country greater.

The Republican Party took a dark turn with the Southern Strategy.

Good point about Bannon. What continues to amaze me is not just how many MAGAts support the pardons of obvious criminals and scumbags, but how many are willing to drop their pants and bend over for a repeat performance. Weird!

It's pretty ironic they want to call themselves the party of law and order when their felon leader is turning criminals loose.
