Why?

I will assume you believe in a singular god, and there have been many civilizations who have believed in dozens of gods (god of fire, god of water, etc, etc), so if they said of you "what a blessing to not be one who believes in only a single god' would you agree with that sentiment that somehow it was deficient to not believe what they do?

Or would you reply to them that your belief in one god is the perfect spot? That those like you hold the only valid position?

There are what I call the Evangelical Atheists. They go around trying to convince everybody how awesome it is to be an Atheist... these people think and say the word in a way you can "feel" the capitalization. I like to talk about the Spaghetti Monster, because it is fun, not to be a dick. The Evangelical Atheists will only speak of it in a way that mocks and is just to be a dick. They believe that people that have faith in a god rather than faith that there is no god are "idiots" and they treat them that way.

I do not have any issue with any persons faith. I grew up in faith and had my own journey while studying religion and have my own conclusion but freely admit there is NO KEEPER of FACTS on this issue so being an ass about it, is stupid.

What i hate is when religious people WRONGLY trying to define the 'absence of faith' in any one religion as its own faith as that is just stupid. It makes the words meaningless because if that is true then all of us have 'faith' in everything including whether JPP (the forum) is god, via or not believing it is or not considering it.

Based on trying to say 'the lack of belief in a thing is a faith' that leads to infinity minus one being all the beliefs a person holds who believes in one god being. It is simply a dumb way to define anything.
