The choice is between a Republican-led republic or a Democrat oligarchy, complete with rioting, looting, cops being hunted, economic breakdown and a fascism cherry on top.

I'd support a new party if it is modeled after Libertarian ideals and Rand Paul is the leader.

Mmmmm....No! The Obama administration was not "shifting the the country to the left"....if one were to carefully examine ALL of his efforts, attempts and policies. Remember, Obama was a "right of center" Democrat. The GOP gained Congressional control/edge when the very majority that put Obama in office got pissed off because they felt he wasn't fighting hard enough for the very "liberal" principles the voted him in for....so they boycotted the Congressional elections, and you had about 6 years of stone walling and unprecedented obstruction of a sitting President and his party in the House & Senate.

The Overton Window is a foggy attempt to divert slightly (but parrot mostly) from what Chomsky & Herman put forth 22 years earlier in dealing with "manufactured consent". To me, it's a "been there, done that, not quite" tome for those not aware of Chomsky's work.

Simply put, real change in America seems to always come when people's backs are against the wall, and they literally have nothing to lose except the SOS, for better or worse. That is the reason I put out the OP. Couldn't hurt.
