Trump causes average gas prices to skyrocket to $4.48 per gal., $5.65 for diesel. Trump is also causing jet fuel shortages.

I have long observed that it is impossible for any people to vote their way to freedom.

The oppressors must be confronted with blood and fire!
The people who run America from the shadows are determined to enslave the people, and this being a nasty dark age the people suck.....they almost certainly are to be slaves.

I am not going.

$4.54 and $5.57 and remember that we are exporting record amounts of both crude and distillates...which means Americans will pay more. Trump decided that we have plenty of crude and enough refining capacity so that America has all it needs, but he clearly does not understand how the oil market works, in a global shortage caused by America Americans pay a lot more, and Trump takes the blame.
we will probably be using our oil for our own uses.

It doesnt have to be sold abroad.

me and trump are violating "democratic norms", which suck balls anyway.

Notable that MAGA truckers and MAGA farmers are getting hammered by the policies they voted for and support.

If the war "ends" tomorrow, we won't see gas prices like early this year before next year.

It is ad hominem or insults. You included no rebuttal whatsoever. You simply insulted and attacked me instead.

And they are crying like babies, Problem is they won't eat the increases they will pass them on to the consumer and we will have to pay for them.
Yep they got what they wanted now they are going to stick it to the American consumer.

You're seriously sweating the midterms I see.

As you should be.

Filling a Ford F-150 with Gas Just Passed a Threshold. Here's Why That's Alarming.

  • Rapidly rising gas prices are beginning now to weigh on consumer spending and sentiment.
  • The trend looks likely to get worse before it improves and could affect various companies.
With the national average gas price at more than $4.40 a gallon, according to AAA, it now costs more than $100 to fill the 23-gallon tank of America's best-selling vehicle, the F-150, produced by Ford Motor Company.

That's a worrying development, given that the biggest engine of economic growth in the U.S. is -- by a mile -- consumer spending.

For the record, before the war in Iran began, the average price of gas was around $2.98, so filling the same pickup truck then cost about $68. Now it's 50% more -- and that has repercussions for consumers, companies, and investors.

Reactions: QP!
Trump is rubbing his MAGA stink all over the GOP candidates, which is golden for their opponents. Rub, Trump, rub.
The problem: MAGA doesn't need a majority of votes to win. They've got the electoral college, gerrymandered congressional districts, and a fascist dominated Supreme Court. Frankly, I'm not sure that there's any way for the scumbags to lose.

That's especially true if Democrats bathe in groundless optimism when they should be spending all of their efforts in strategizing a no holds barred counteroffensive. We've shackled ourselves with caution and timidity. That's gotten us where we are now.
