trump clown car making plans to skip Social Security checks

Bear in mind that the idiot you responded to, just a few months ago, was loudly proclaiming across the forum how people were "suffering" and "going without food" and "can't afford Taylor Swift tickets" because of Biden. Now everything is unicorns and rainbows because Trump, according to the phony bimbo. Amazing how prices haven't dropped, wages are the same, but it's miraculously all good now, isn't it? lol
Great. I liked it better when it wasn't interesting and we had a boring drama-free POTUS..
I liked braindead Sleepy Joe! So much better.
And people on disability.
Yes, so many people who don’t have back up income. We are blessed.

How sad it is that we have so many citizens who don't give a fuck about their neighbors and others in their community. From the comments here, you know a good many of them will be gleeful if those citizens lose their only source of income. "There but for the grace of god" has no resonance for them.

Disability might not even be enough to cover rent where I live. It's about living with your parents or sacrificing other essentials like food or utilities.. Thanks to combining incomes, we live a modest life with minimal complaints. Even a month without payments would change that, though.

I know a few people in that situation , Disability , food stamps and going to the food pantry is how they get by and it is just getting by.
And if it wasn't for being able to get TV over the air they wouldn't even have that.

I'm lucky that I don't pay rent. I can afford to eat a decent diet because of that, and even have internet and streaming. If they delayed a check, that would change. We'd have to tighten the belt until we got another check.

Well several of these people are lucky to have great landlords that don't charge them a lot.
Most of them live out in to boondocks and grow a lot of their food , don't have public water or any of that to pay for one has a NG well so they don't have to pay for that .
And if they cut SS or any of the gov. programs they need they will be screwed.
Musk and Trump don't give a shit about people in those positions . cutting some of these programs is going to hurt a LOT of people

We live out in farm country near a lake. We always grew some of our food and used the lake water to water the crops. We get enough berries each year to feed a few families, so we often share them fresh or in recipes.

Mom wants to get container gardens going since she is getting older and things aren't as easy as they once were. I'd help out more, but my expertise is in flower gardening. I've flopped a few times trying to grow crops. I can water plants, though.

Can I suggest raised beds, I use to have 10 or 12 , 4x10 " Boxes where I raised a lot of stuff. put a steel mesh ( 4x4 or 6x6 squares ) down the middle of a couple of them put in cuks had them grow up the fence , then had toms. down both sides ( about 8 on a side ) plant radish in rows about 2 inches apart in rows across the 4 ft side about 3 inches apart.
We didn't waste an inch. grew enough onions in one box for a year,
planted them in rows cross ways ( 4 ft rows ) in rows leaving just enough space for them to grow good size between each other .

Hope these ideas help you

Ours are direct deposited so the only way they'd become "missing" is if the government stopped depositing them. And you can bet your bippy we'll be on the phone on hold (probably for hours) until they fix it.
When I gave financial advice for a charity, we used to deal with people who had the direct deposit redirected by scammers. The important thing is to report it immediately. The problem is many of the people you would report it to have been fired.

No one is going to miss a check...
You cannot be this stupid. Of course people are going to miss checks. That just happens. Now with the people who would fix it being fired, the people who miss checks will have a lot more trouble fixing it.

And Dodge will absolutely cut off checks to people to see if they react.

trump's commerce secretary, Lutnick, said that if you do not get your Social Security check, don't worry, you might get one next month. He went on to say that only fraudsters complain about not getting their payments.

There is so much wrong here, it is hard to even list them all.

First, always report a failure to pay immediately. The more time you allow a mistake, or fraud to go by, the more trouble it will be to correct. If someone in payroll spends three months stealing your paycheck, chances are you are getting none of it back.

Some people live paycheck to paycheck, so missing a few months of paychecks will really hurt them. But even people who have months worth of savings will be hurt by having to take from it. That is money that will not be giving you a return, and money that will no longer be in savings to protect against future emergencies. With retired people, it might be money that has to be taken out of 401k's or IRA's, which cannot be put back. Its capital gains will start getting taxed.

Lutnick could not be more wrong about "fraudsters" complaining. Fraudsters want to stay below the radar, and rarely complain. It is people who earned the money that complain. Stop paying a workforce, and the workers will complain. The people who do not work will quietly slink away.

Comrade Himmler, can you document any instances of SS recipients not receiving checks? Or is this just more disinformation by you Stalinists?
