Repugs had the votes but not the arguments. All they needed was fifty. if you check you will find they had those. Garland was supposed to be on that seat and it was the right and honest thing to do. But the right will throw truth ,justice and the American way out the window to get their way. they do it with such ease.

What was Garlands vote? I missed it. Did he have 50:?Who knows, the repubs were so afraid that they would not do their jobs. they hid under their desks and would not talk to him.
they did not give him a vote because they might have lost. certainly garland did not recieve justice. but the repubs had the power. Who would expect justice from them? they did what Mcconnell directed. Cheat

All of those who love the idea of tax evasion ,if you can get away with it, is it different when you are running for president? trump represents a moral dilemma. As head of the government, he should be happy to pay taxes. If he is cheating the US, he should not be allowed in office. We all know the wealthy use government resources at a incredible rate. Are you OK wih the president cheating the people out of their share of taxes?

Tax avoidance is not tax evasion. They would have had to pay income taxes on the profits of Sketchy Supplies, Inc.

the floor is where the vote is taken. it is done after the interviews, followed by a hearing. It is entirely possible that Garland would have gotten the votes. that is why McConnell stopped the process. He did not want a good and fair justice. He wanted to fix the court to vote his way.

Garland was getting cheated out of his seat. He is not a lefty, but a middle of the road judge. McConnell would not permit his vote to get to the committee. i repeat, Mcconnell blocked a good judge from the court and put a bad one in, Kavanaugh is under their control. In order to find out if he had the votes in committee, he would have had to have gotten there. I repeat, Mcconnell aborted the whole process.

he aborted the process because he had the votes to do it........you failed to abort the process with Kavanaugh because you didn't have the votes to do it.......sucks to be the guy without votes........get used to it, you will have even fewer votes in December than you have now......

Then why didn't he have the fucking vote? Because he may have lost. Otherwise, he should have had the vote and made a big deal about it. Garland would not have resulted in a terrible hearing like molesting Kavanaugh did.
They should have interviewed him, then held a hearing. Then had that vote you pretend to know would have failed. But for some reason, the turtle eschewed it all. You may be able to figure out why not. Because he might have lost.
