Trump facing massive electoral vote wipeout

My read is that America is toast regardless.....the world order is changing because this one has failed, mostly because of too much lying and too much bad quality work....it did not need to go this way but it has.

After The New Chinese Empire spreads across the globe America will be a Shit Hole Country.....the Chinese will insist.

this bleak reality will not manifest. its too dumb.

this bleak reality will not manifest. its too dumb.

I do not understand this post.

I will say that perhaps you dont take note of how dumb your peers tend to be, how far dumb can go in reality....though it is always eventually charged by the Universe.

we're not screwed man, its just a bump on the road.

ccp and totalitarianism will go the way of the hula hoop.

Sure, but this bump in the road may well last hundreds of years.

I encourage you to be more worried when your peers are either insane or play that they are, this cant go any place good....same goes for all of the cruelty we see now.

If Biden makes a bad choice for VP, it could hurt him. If people see the VP pick as soothing and resolving the worries about his age, his lead might grow. We kinda knew it was over for McCain when he picked Palin for example.

The Conventions often change and shake up polling data, at least temporarily and sometimes for good. Clinton got a lasting bump from his first convention. GHWB got a lasting one also. HRC had a bump, but it did not last.

Don't know about the VP choice, other than Palin, who did that to herself, can't recall any VP pick that matter a whole lot in any election

And you are correct, the Conventions did provide a candidate a bump, but this year, basically, there won't be any Conventions, no week of speeches on network TV, no pumped up crowds, no ending acceptance speech, both will come and go uneventfully

If anything upsets the trend, it is that October surprise that always seems to come, watch out for Billy Barr's "investigations" stealing the media attention in mid September

but yet, it all goes somewhere awesome!

these are the last gasp machinations of the third density ptb. good wins. it is foretold.

Based upon current state-by-state polling, which is naturally subject to change, MSNBC’s resident election analyst predicted Donald Trump will suffer an embarrassing defeat in November unless his campaign can come up with something to stop his collapsing approval numbers.

Standing before a US map, analyst Steve Kornacki broke down for host Yasmin Vossoughian the president’s uphill battle to get within striking distance of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

“What we have here is our first look from NBC at what the electoral map looks like right now,” he explained before adding, “Things could change.”

“Remember, Trump had 306 on election night, 2016. How many does as he have as of now in August? We think he only has 125 in the bag and we think Biden is sitting there at 334 — these are the states that are solidly Biden and the states that are leaning Biden.

“What we’re seeing is big gains for the Democrats,” he continued. “Where are the Democratic gains on this map from 2016? Six states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin — we talked about those — all of the polling in those states have been very encouraging for the Democrats, plus Arizona and Florida — that is a big one, 29 electoral votes — and North Carolina. Those six states, we think, right now, are leaning toward and moving toward the Biden column and those six states add to what Hillary Clinton had: 334.”

Kornacki added that the Trump campaign is now being forced to play on defense by trying to keep the states they won in 2016 because they have made no inroads on states Clinton won.

I hope they are right, but I think it is a little optimistic; especially using MSNBC analysis. They were terrible in 2016:

So that's why you support Trump - he's the champion of Good.

Honesty, selflessness, empathy, all that good stuff.

I support Trump for a lot of reasons, that he is the most honest guy to come down the Pike in a long while is only one.

That he has given so much to the nation is another.

Empathy is overrated by a country mile.
