Trump facing massive electoral vote wipeout

Babyboomers were raised being told work hard buy a house have a family live a good life...thats what "most' baby boomers did, went to work what we benefitted from the future generations wont is decent wages and benefits because we had unions that negotiated and fought for it. The largest chunk of babyboomers were lower to upper middle class..

The boomers in positions of CEO and the big bankers and wall street etc drove the incessant greed of the baby boomer gen...they engineered the exodus that took china from half starving and eating dog and rats to an economic super power at american workers expense, it idled hundreds of factories with decent paying union jobs.

What finished off the middle class is the Democrats and their Sanctuary everything and encouraging illegal immigration that drove the wages for most workers into the toilet and put american citizens out of work. Lets not forget untold costs of illegal immigrants...just their healthcare and incarceration costs are huge and thats just 2.

As you ought to know, the whole development of capitalism since the end of the sixties or thereabouts has been to go for the greatest possible profit and therefore the busting of unions and pissing on national interests. Fantasies about immigration are just part of the game, keeping the mugs busy while their pockets are picked. Workers' wages have fallen everywhere, in real terms, because they have behaved like mugs and, mostly, failed to fight. Usual old game.

Youre right about profit being the biggest motivator and when it got really bad. Approx 1978 boards demanded that bonus's that were automatic and given to CEOS whether the company profit increased or decreased end. They demanded a performance model for CEO salary and bonus...thats when the real greed and drive for profit really exploded.

Unions died as membership died, unions that covered manufacturing died. Trade unions died when the construction boon ended and their Union paid benefits were cut by the union for lack of dues.

Dirt cheap illegal immigrant labor has absolutely help to drive wages in the toilet for labor, most every employer seeks illegals to work under the table for less per hour its a windfall for them...Thats why their should be jailtime for employers caught with an illegal workforce not Fines that they dont care about.

No it is not faith in the system....it is lazyiness and not giving two fucks about the health of the society and its systems and its institutions, because it was all about them and how much they could get/steal.

Good to know the post-boomer generations are not taking those stimulus checks--to do so would show they are just after how much free money they can get.

There was inevitably some weakening of union power as rich countries exported heavy labour to less developed places, but there is also a great deal of evidence -like the provoking of the Miners' Strike here, of a concerted campaign of union-busting. As to immigration, people have always moved to where wages are better, and bosses have always looked for the cheapest labour they can get: the trick is to get them unionised.

If the election were held today, there would be dancing in the streets in the morning.

A lot can happen in 84 days.

Based upon current state-by-state polling, which is naturally subject to change, MSNBC’s resident election analyst predicted Donald Trump will suffer an embarrassing defeat in November unless his campaign can come up with something to stop his collapsing approval numbers.

Standing before a US map, analyst Steve Kornacki broke down for host Yasmin Vossoughian the president’s uphill battle to get within striking distance of presumptive Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden.

“What we have here is our first look from NBC at what the electoral map looks like right now,” he explained before adding, “Things could change.”

“Remember, Trump had 306 on election night, 2016. How many does as he have as of now in August? We think he only has 125 in the bag and we think Biden is sitting there at 334 — these are the states that are solidly Biden and the states that are leaning Biden.

“What we’re seeing is big gains for the Democrats,” he continued. “Where are the Democratic gains on this map from 2016? Six states: Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin — we talked about those — all of the polling in those states have been very encouraging for the Democrats, plus Arizona and Florida — that is a big one, 29 electoral votes — and North Carolina. Those six states, we think, right now, are leaning toward and moving toward the Biden column and those six states add to what Hillary Clinton had: 334.”

Kornacki added that the Trump campaign is now being forced to play on defense by trying to keep the states they won in 2016 because they have made no inroads on states Clinton won.

Yeah........that must be why you see all the "BIDEN" signs in the front yards all across mid America.

MSDNC (NBC) was so correct during the 2016 election.....it just takes your breath away. https://www.270towin.com/maps/nbc-battleground

This is like a broken record.........propaganda is all the left has, they are out of ammo. OBAMA GATE (fail) Russiagate (fail) Tax Fraud (fail) Impeachment (fail) Wu Flu (failing big time) Riots (the people are enjoying the show as they watch democrats burn their neighborhoods to the ground and then beg for federal aid from their neighboring red states).

All out of events....so what do they do next? Lets say TRUMP demands his portrait on Mt. Rushmore....this is getting very entertaining. Got your eye goggles yet like a good little NAZI foot soldier? :bigthink:

Don't forget that Dukakis was 8 points ahead at this point in his election year. He lost by 8 points.

Are you in the process of traveling around mid America checking font yard signs? Spare us this BS.

Yes...... instead of using my fingers on a keyboard........I hop on my horse and ride across America. :palm: Suggestion: Show us all the BIDEN signs across America. There should be about 50 million if NBC polling is correct.

Next rabbit hole.......that one was quite shallow.

You are truly an idiot.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I bet that 4 point lead was after the conventions...

Yes. Dukakis got a bump in late July on the day after the convention which showed a 15 point lead. It quickly dissipated down to 7 points a week after and then trailing by 4 the week after that which was the first poll after the Republican convention.

so you blame the victims.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

That's what Trump was planning to say in 2016, until he found out he had won on a technicality. Then it was the best election ever.

In just four years. Think what another four years of chaos and idiocy could do.

What "technicality"?? He won because the Electoral College voted him in, per the Constitution...

Hillary was never winning by this much, even at her peak, Biden is ahead. If things continue like this, Trump is facing an historic defeat.

Also HRC's lead was never as stable as Biden's has been.

blah blah blah... same BS as 2016... polls are meaningless.
