I strongly advise all Americans to own a rifle. Yes, an AR or AK is best, but any .30 caliber or larger rifle, bolt action or not, is sufficient, especially if it has a scope.

$500 would buy a decent scoped "hunting" rifle. Become proficient with it and be able to shoot a foot wide target at 200 yards. If you can do that, you can protect your neighborhood against terrorists attacking Americans.

Trump is actually lucky. As, Trump won't have to serve very long. Some president will eventually pardon him, or at least parole him- probably Biden will before leaving office.

Just because of the embarrassment that it is for the UNITED STATES to have one of their past presidents sitting in prison! Not a good look to the rest of the world or even ourselves.

What is important is that Trump is indicted and has to pay all of his fines and actually spend some time in jail to think about his criminal lifestyle problem and the problems he has caused for so many people also having to serve time- for his crimes.
 
The committee proved Trump organized the insurrection. There is no way he should get away with that. Trump is the biggest threat to the continuance of America that it has ever faced. It is worse than the banker putsch of the 1930s. The bankers got away without being named and shamed in public or jailed. We cannot let Trumpy escape his crimes.
