Hillary was investigated for DECADES but the Reichwing could never make a single thing stick. Not one. There is zero comparison with her and a treasonous blob who stole secret documents, sucked up to America's enemies (like Putin), tried to steal an office that voters rejected him for, and did everything but wipe his huge ass with our Constitution. Agreed. Bill Clinton and Donald Trump, both draft-dodging, adulterous liars, were both impeached but not convicted. That doesn’t mean they are innocent of their actions.
The multiple Republican investigates into Hillary for Benghazi were a witch-hunt since she was clearly out of the loop for that operation. I think the only reason they went after her was because she was the most likely Democrat candidate for 2016 and they were making preemptive efforts to nullify her.

Agree on Benghazi but I believe they dropped the ball on her treatment of classified information. The rational was well Powell did the same thing. 2 wrongs don't mak a right. Powell should have been charged also if he mishandled classified information.

Agreed on classified material. A large part of that was that the Republicans had cried “Wolf!” on her so many times that when something real came up, it was ignored. It helped that Obama’s AG, Loretta, failed to prosecute since she knew the Republicans had spent themselves and were powerless.

My guess is that it was both a "done deal" as far as her security violations and, as Comey mentioned, not enough to prosecute and win.
The Republicans did fuck up by their constant attempts to nail Hillary no matter how scant the evidence. When evidence finally did show up, the majority of the public considered it the same old Republican BS.

I did not say that. I've been merely pointing out that the Reichwingers have been after her for decades yet cannot make anything stick. If she broke the law and they have the evidence and file charges and she is convicted, then yes, she should pay the penalty. But the fact remains that despite years of investigations as well as (R) hegemony in the WH and the congress and Justice Dept., she is still walking free. Why is that?
