I know. MAGAs want it both ways. On one hand it was a gentle demonstration. On the other hand, they wish AOC and Nancy were killed.
Just an observation. There is almost no sentence reduction in the federal system, so 25 years would mean 25 years. trump is an unhealthy 76, so 25 years would probably be a life sentence. Even if he were alive, the next Presidential election in 25 years would be in 2048, when trump would be 102. he would be trying to serve until he was 106.
I do not think he needs to be banned from future office at that point.

It will probably be impossible to empanel a jury without a single trumpanzee on it, and it only takes one juror to hang a fury.
I've done it myself--twice when fellow jurors were all incompetent imbeciles. Here, it will be the incompetent one hanging the jury.
Our jury system is catastrophically bad, but necessary. While many judges are legally accomplished and just, many others are guilty of more than most defendants.
Especially elected ones in red states.
We only have appointed judges here, thank heavens, and since our governors aren't safely sequestered in a governor's mansion, they don't dare make stupid mistakes.
