The issue is are Dr.s and Hospital administrators fudging the numbers in order to get larger payments. The answer is in some occasions they are.

I think it is money well deserved- GIVEN ALL THE PERSONAL SACRIFICES OF THESE DOCTORS, NURSES, TECHNICIANS, AND STAFFS AND HOSPITALS THAT ARE WORKING AROUND THE CLOCK AND RISKING THEIR OWN LIVES to save lives. MANY HAVE DIED AS A DIRECT RESULT OF THE OUT-OF-CONTROL PANDEMIC! AND WHILE MANY HOSPITALS ARE ON THE BRINK OF BANKRUPTCY!

Oh MANY docs take care of their own patients. Hospitalist do take care of some patients as do ER docs and Trauma surgeons. All of which are paid by hospitals.(all compensated by hospitals) But OBGYN, General surgeons , internists nephrologists, anesthesiologists, cardio thoracic surgeons ENTs etc etc all see their own patients in many hospitals.
