I remember. The issue is that the Feds should have freed up funding for the hospitals, but given that the virus raged through Blue states first, trump made this a political issue.

Masks and PPE are single use in a clinical setting lol.

In Lowes and Walmart they wear the same mask all day. It’s hard to imagine how contaminated those things are after an 8 hour shift.

I would not be the least bit surprised if public face masks create more infections than they prevent.

No, the vast majority of hospitals should have simply been left alone.

Everyone panicked because of the faulty models Birx and Fauci were going by. So they shut down elective procedures and frightened people so bad they were afraid to go to the ER.

It was a travesty.

There was no choice given the PPE and drug shortage, because our leaders did such a poor job preparing for a pandemic and keeping drug in stock. Drug shortages have been common in recent years for various reasons all related to mismanagement.

Nurses are NOT required to change a mask for each patient in a normal setting.

And here you pretend to be retired from a hospital? Look at the hospitals in numerous Mid West states right now. NYC was overflowing. So was Fla. after Labor Day, and Texas after that.

True but you cannot make the blanket statement that "doctors are paid by hospitals" because many don't. As I said some are but many aren't. Out of all the docs in the US only a small fraction are paid by the hospital. Who do you think has the most pull with hospitals. The guys that admit the patients that fill the rooms and do the surgeries and procedures or the hospitalist that are employees of the hospital. I can tell you who.

The claim, nitwit,is hospitals are making big bucks off Corona. It is actually costing them a ton. They want it to end so they can get their business back. Trump made a very nasty and dishonest charge. It was against the doctors too. We have taken a turn and talked about hospital profits. That too is wrong. Trump claimed doctors are making 2000 a case. It is not true , no matter how you slice it.

That was allegedly the plan following Hillary's failed attempt to expand Medicare in 1992. It was supposed to be part of Gingrich's "contract with America", a right wing farce.
 
Trump said doctors were making more money, He did not mention hospitals, who are losing money with Corona. Trump lied again.
