TRUMP RIGHT AGAIN: HOSPTIALS ARE GETTING MORE $$ FROM MEDICAID FOR COVID PATIENTS

Gee...did you NOT read all the way through your article?

Further, in Feb. trump sent 12 tons of PPE to China. If the cupboards were bare for three years under trump, with absolutely no limits on spending, why were the cupboards not replenished?

Liar.

SO YOU ADMIT YOU LIED YOU ASS OFF ABOUT OBAMA DEPLETING OUR PPE.

BLAME TRUMP FOR OBAMA'S FUCKUP.

TYPICAL LEFTIST LIES.

BUSH, JR, DIDN'T LEAVE THE CUPBOARD BARE FOR OBAMA, DID HE ??

He didn't. Boehner did. As your article states.

I did read it. That is why I posted it. Hospitals are getting more money for Covid patients. They have been.
The link you said that you posted days ago has nothing to do with hospitals. It has to do with 'empty cupboards'. At least...that's what you quoted.

That's what I thought you told us. So why are you applying OR protocols to the floor? Of course, the floors were using that protocol in the beginning of the hospital overflows, which is exactly what I stated. All PPE became single use. Hospitals should have been given funding.

I don’t know where the floor gets their crap from but ours came from our wonderful communist friends in China. The biggest issue is why are we getting so much of our medical crap from China?

And who wants to play footsie with China, even after they screwed us with *their virus*? He’s got a D next to his name and he’ll be on the ballot tomorrow.

You are right. That was not the link I posted. Good eyes! This is it: https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...ore-covid-19-patients-coronavirus/3000638001/
And as I've been discussing, the problem is with the way the Feds are refusing to fund the hospitals. In large part because the virus hit NYC the hardest, along with California in the early days. Hospitals were overflowing, and nurses/doctors were being shipped in from all over the country to help.

trump politicizes everything, and if you remember, blamed 'Blue state governors' for the problems. He doesn't believe in funding for those who don't vote for him.

So we have a situation where funding is only available for Covid related issues, even though the entire hospital was suffering cost overruns with all patients due to the sheer volume. As Darth mentioned, all (money making) elective surgeries were put on hold.

I have no doubt that hospitals were coding as many procedures as Covid related, as that's the only way they got funding. I'm no sure how they recover millions of dollars from dead patients?

Which is a far cry from the claim that 'doctors are making more money on Covid patients'.

The CDC guidance says that officials should report deaths in which the patient tested positive for
COVID-19 or, if a test isn’t available, "if the circumstances are compelling within a reasonable
degree of certainty." It further indicates that if a "definite diagnosis of COVID-19 cannot be made,
but it is suspected or likely (the circumstances are compelling within a reasonable degree of certainty),
it is acceptable to report COVID-19 on a death certificate as 'probable' or 'presumed.'"

************

It's a shame they don't report it to the public this way. One category for 'probable/presumed'
and another category for 'confirmed'. To heighten the fear & panic, gloom & doom nutcases
they just report an inflated combination of the two as 'confirmed cases.

Well...Covid exposed the flaws in our capitalist system. I don't see that changing. But, hospitals have X number of masks that would tend to last for X months. With all masks becoming single use, they vanished very quickly.

That alone was a massive expense, as the price quadrupled overnight.

Has the left forgotten about The CARES Act already? The money was meant to be available to pay hospitals for Covid related instances.
So, of course this has been happening!
