Trump targets Social Security again.

For the third year, tRump's budget contains proposed cuts to SSDI. These cuts would significantly affect the 8 million plus folks with disabilities who participate in this program. This from a politician who repeatedly says that he WILL NOT touch Social Security.
Fortunately, a president's proposed budget rarely resembles anything near what Congress approves, and nobody is cutting SSI in an election year. That said, tRump's open dishonesty towards SSI is troubling to say the least.

SS helps kids whose bread earner dies. It helps people with disabilities. It helps people stricken with crippling illnesses. Rand Paul who spent a career attacking SS was helped by SS when his dad died. But he is a red. I got mine, you do not get it.

All part of the conservative playbook, see Paul Ryan, run up deficits and debt, tax cuts for the wealthy, and when the consequences hit the fan, make it all about entitlements, hitting those with little to pay the piper

A reduction in the rate of increase is not a "cut". Why do libs always have to be so dishonest?

I live on disability for mental and nerve issues. I got it after my dad died when I was younger. I got to occasionally stay home from my last year of High school so I could watch over my ill father so Mom could work. Got to take an ambulance into the hospital on Thanksgiving when my dad started circling the drain. I remember it well as we were in the midst of a blizzard. All the haters out there that think people shouldn't have such government assistance can nibble on a wild boars taint.

Nobody is against helping those who truly need help, the problem is fraud. Why do you think conservatives give far more to charity than libs? Why do libs always have to be so dishonest?

At the same time increasing the military budget, and not the areas that benefit the soldiers directly.

Don’t complain about the debt if entitlement reform is untouchable. And Republicans never actually do anything about it. Lip service on occasion but ultimately no action, just like this proposed budget.

Didn't say entitlements were untouchable, I think they should be addressed, but handing out huge tax breaks to the top and then forcing the bottom to pay for the costs isn't quite ethical
