Sorry, TA, but Trump is BY FAR the worst president in my lifetime...and almost certainly, in my opinion, the worst president ever in the history of this country. (And as I have mentioned before, over one-third of all the presidents who have ever served...have served during my lifetime.)

I have never said anything remotely like that about any president previously...and there have been several that I considered pretty bad.

But Trump is an abomination...a disgusting individual and a miserable president.

The reason for his bad press is not bias against him...it is because he is so bad.

Oh, I'll give you that Trump is a bastard and rude, but many presidents were equally so or worse. It's said LBJ took a piss in front of the press in the Rose Garden simply because he needed to go and didn't give a shit what the press thought. He got us into Vietnam on a baldfaced lie but he didn't care.

He put through the Great Society--an catastrophic failure of social policy--to buy the Black vote.

Bill Clinton makes Trump look like a choirboy when it comes to sex. The guy is a total sleaze.

Nice guy presidents often finish last, like Carter.

The many anecdotes about the crudeness of LBJ MAY have some basis in truth. But there are very few documented cases of that crudeness that come even close to matching what Trump does daily in public.

LBJ did not administrate by fiat. The Great Society policy was enacted by Congress...and it was not a failure, it was a success.

If you want to think it was motivated by a desire to get black votes...you are free to do so. If I want to consider it motivated by a desire to eliminate poverty as much as possible and to aim at reducing racial injustice...I am, for the moment, still free to do so.

I am not asking that Trump become a "nice guy." It would be nice, though, if he were a bit less of a pompous, narcissistic, bloviating piece of shit.

I really like the JOE K cups. JOE has some different flavors and variations but the "tall dark and handsome " are the best IMO. Just ordered more from Amazon yesterday in fact.

A tariff is a tax PAID BY THE IMPORTER...and almost always passed on to the consumers.

So, Trump is raising taxes on consumers (mostly from the lower end of the wealth scale) in order to "balance the budget"...which really means "to give more tax breaks to the very wealthy."
