The Indian Citizenship Act of 1924, also known as the Snyder Act, granted citizenship to American Native Americans. Prior to 1924 Indians were not US citizens. If it took an act of Congress to grant citizenship to Indians certainly a child born to two illegal aliens is not a US citizen. That child is a citizen of the country its parents illegally immigrated from.

We have been producing oil at RECORD amounts for over a year now and it still isn't enough we still have to import a lot of oil something like 6 to 8 MBPD.
And another thing where are you going to get all these drilling rigs from?
When Trump was in last time and the Saudis and Russia had their oil price war the US oil producers and drillers went to Trump and asked for help when it first started he did nothing and over 100 oil drilling / producing companies went bankrupt and out of business for good.
Dismantling and SCRAPING a lot of their equipment it wasn't till AFTER they went out of business did Trump finally step in and do something but it was already too late, Trump finally told the Saudis to cut their production and RAISE prices or he was going to stop all military aid to them and they did,

And another thing do you realize just how many parts the US auto industry uses to build their cars that come from Chins?
If Trump puts even a 20% tariff on these parts it will drive up the cost of a US made car a lot, slowing sales and auto workers will be laid off, and it is a fact that for every one auto worker working there are 6 to 8 other workers in supporting industries working, So lay off 1000 auto workers and you will be laying off 6 to 8 thousand workers in those supporting industries and that WILL trickle down and workers in other industries like stores will be effected too.
Now make it 30, 40 % or more and a LOT more of those workers will be laid off and it could end up effecting hundreds of thousands of American workers and causing us to go into a recession / depression.

They have already experienced massive layoffs under Biden, and EV mandates.

What automotive parts are Chinese? ... we're already switching chip mfg. supply chains to other Asian countries and the U.S..

NO It was the Saudi oil price war that shut down the US oil industry and Trump did NOT do a thing until over 100 US oil drilling/ producing companies went bankrupt and most of them out of business for good.
Maybe IF he had stepped in when they first went to hin and asked him for help to stop it they wouldn't have,

Trump wants a 20% across the board tariff put on everything that will also include oil products raising the cost of fuel and gas and that cost will also be passed on to the American consumer.
We import in the area of 6 to 8 MBPD of oil to make the fuel and gas we use here.
IN fact I read the other day the CEOs of some of the oil companies have said they believe a 20% tariff on oil could raise the price of gas about a dollar and fuel costs even more so that will go up even more , Everything you buy has been on a truck some time during manufacturing or from the plant where it was made and delivered to the store you bought it in so that will effect the price too.
And as it is now there are a LOT of thing we need and buy that we do not make here so I guess you will have to go without things you need.

Are you pro increasing corporate taxes. That would increase the cost of everything made in the US.

We buy heat sour crude at a substantial DISCOUNT and refine it because our Gulf Coast refineries are set up to refine it. We sell sweet crude like the crude that comes from the Permian basin to countries that cannot refine heavy o sour crude. So the important number is what is our net oil import. We can product 100% of our oil needs here and we can still export oil. If we drill baby Drill and increase our oil exports to 3-4 million barrels a day than we import that will bring more money INTO the US economy. That means more jobs for American workers.

In 2023, the United States was a net petroleum exporter of about 1.64 million barrels per day (b/d). This was due to the country exporting more petroleum than it imported, with exports totaling about 10.15 million b/d and imports totaling about 8.53 million b/d.

Just about everything electronic , from ignition parts to that touch screen that operates a lot of things in your car.
From you climate control to your radio, road maps and a lot more.

The reason oil prices fell is consumption sharply decreased due to COVID and production continued for awhile. That created an excess of oil on the market. Trump tried to fill the SPR with cheap oil and that would have helped stabilize oil prices. But the stupid Democrats blocked it.

Exactly. I told my wife, who is a legal immigrant and a naturalized citizen, when Trump started demonizing illegal immigrants that his supporters would be to ignorant of political science to know they were being played for fools straight out of Machiavelli’s The Prince.

In addition I told her that if Trump supporters felt this way about illegal immigrants that they didn’t think too highly of legal immigrants or naturalized citizens either and that the next “others” to be demonized would be legal immigrants and naturalized citizens.

Now that has come to pass and I can’t begin to tell the level of contempt and disgust I feel for these bigoted idiots who are also descendants of immigrants.

So why do we have to import 6 to 8 MBPD of oil of the type we use here for our gas every day?
And you are talking about Tar sand oil the type that we do not use here for fuel and is used in making plastic, so that goes to China and if Trump puts his tariffs on Chinese goods they will put tariffs on that oil and then that will be passed on to the US consumer plus Trumps tariffs causing the price of a lot of Chinese goods made from that oil to make plastics to go up even higher.
And as for taxing US industries I think they pay a lot but when they are reporting record profits year over year and not paying anything that is not right.
If we look at a company like Exxon that has been making record profits over and over for the last couple of years raising their prices and blaming it on inflation it should be looked into. Gouging the AMERICAN CONSUMER isn't right and not paying any income taxes NOT even one cent on those record profits is NOT right.
In those cases I think it should be looked into, That IS one investigation I think Congress SHOULD be conducting.
