Trump to end existing policy of birthright citizenship for illegal entrants' children

If you explain the need for Snyder Act you would know that the 14th amendment does not apply to illegal aliens or their children born in the US . Prior to 1924 NATIVE Americans were not citizens of the United States even if they were born off the reservation in the United States . If Native Americans born in the USA needed the 1924 Snyder Act to become CITIZENS of the USA then the children of illegal aliens who are born in the USA need a Snyder act to grant them citizenship. Those children are subject to the laws of their own countries.
Well what the hell does that have to do with my post? I was talking about legal immigrants and naturalized citizens.

If parents came to America illegally and brought children with them, they and the children will be deported.

We must keep the families together…in another country.
There is a problem with that for illegals who have lived and worked here for long time ...say decades.
We have not enforced our laws and allowed them to stay here and their young children grew up here as Americans. How can we suddenly deport these families?
Now, there is a whole different scenario for the recent illegals. They need to be gone ASAP.
As for the long term illegals who have lived within our laws, they should be given an opportunity to get legal.

I understand but Trump is going to challenge the birthright policy. I never believed that the 14th Amendment applied to children of illegals. Women are coming here illegally iand having children in our hospitals, at tax payer expense, and remaining and claiming birthright status.

Depending on how the Supreme Court rules, those people will have to leave, no matter how long they have lived here…illegally.

It is what it is.

Well it’s easy. Just become an ignorant red neck bigot, then just round up shit loads of people who aren’t exactly like them and drop them off in a desert not caring what the fuck happens.

You seem like an intelligent person Goy so it shouldn’t surprise you that politicians for years have scared many of the most ignorant of some existential threat that doesn’t exist. Does it work as a political tool? Absolutely. By definition half the general population is dumber than a bagful of hammers. Does it result often in massive numbers of deaths? Yes but what do fools car.

It's going to be messy....real messy.

If real history was known it would shock most and most would not believe it.
Back to the subject, we are guilty for not enforcing our laws.

Well Earl. It seems you are ignorant of US treaties with Native American tribes. Tribes are an entity living within the boundaries of the US but not subject to US jurisdiction because they were subject to the jurisdiction of the tribe they belonged to due to treaty rights. It is that jurisdiction that allowed them to not be US citizens even though born in the US itself. Look up Elk v Wilkins.
A non citizen in the US is subject to US jurisdiction since there is no entity in the US that they are subject to before the US. There is no treaty giving them tribal rights beyond US control.

Your link is 18 months old, Cap'n Section 8.

Trump blows more hot air that a four-stack steamship. Instead of Trumpian bullshit, our nation needs Immigration Reform, not wannabe dictators writing EOs.

From the May 2023 link:
While president in 2018, Trump said he planned to issue an executive order to limit birthright citizenship, but never followed through. Many legal scholars at the time were skeptical that Trump could use executive authority to roll back the right.
