Trump's personality

I've owned several businesses, including brick and mortars, worked hard, created jobs and hired lots of people, done lots of marketing and I've worked with and hired construction contractors. I guess that's part of why I understand what he's doing.

:dunno:

Did you regularly stiff your contractors when the work was completed?

Contractors are often "untrustworthy". Generally speaking, they have a reputation worse than used car salesmen. Other contractors know that reputation is reality and often deserved. I hired a variety of construction contractors during his campaign and every single one of them enthusiastically supported Trump.

Trust? ... whenever we elect a president, we go on "faith" that they will be a good leader, because no one can predict the Future. I trust him because, as a fellow businessman, I understand him. He's got a lot to lose if he fucks up. A lot more than most of us do.

^^^really saying... I had a lawn care business once. Just me and my mower. If I didn't trim the sidewalk right the old bitch I mowed for thought I was "untrustworthy". Old hag. Then I hired my buddy and paid him 50 cents an hour to do the work and we have been friends ever since.

My buddy trusts me, but if I fuck up and pull a Trump and not pay him he'll kick my ass.

The only thing you know about Trump's personality is what the left wing media and other Trump haters tell you....literally, nothing.
You've formed opinions from them and them only.....in plain language, you're clueless when it comes to what who he actually is...

He's a pathological liar. That's obvious.

How could we not take a chance on Trump after Obama, Pelosi, and Reid told us we could keep our current insurance and doctor, later losing both. After 30 years of hard work I could not afford 4 more years added to the 8 worst years of my life. It was a no brainer for people that worked for a living with families to take care of.

Chance is the key word. No matter what...taking a chance in life is better than not taking a chance and not knowing what could have been if you did.

This is what Tony Schwartz, the guy who wrote "Art of the Deal", has to say about Trump.

"If he were writing “The Art of the Deal” today, Schwartz said, it would be a very different book with a very different title. Asked what he would call it, he answered, “The Sociopath.”

But the discussion was soon hobbled by what Schwartz regards as one of Trump’s most essential characteristics: “He has no attention span.”

it’s impossible to keep him focussed on any topic, other than his own self-aggrandizement, for more than a few minutes,

Trump’s short attention span has left him with “a stunning level of superficial knowledge and plain ignorance.”

“Lying is second nature to him,” Schwartz said. “More than anyone else I have ever met, Trump has the ability to convince himself that whatever he is saying at any given moment is true, or sort of true, or at least oughtto be true.”

He lied strategically. He had a complete lack of conscience about it.”

There were two choices this election and one of them was well documented as being ill-tempered, rude, and not the sharpest tool in the shed...and the other one was Trump. The choice was easy.

Odd, Schwartz spent weeks and weeks with Trump one on one.

Electricians, Plumbers, Pavers, etc. all voted for Trump. And that's not "credibility"? And somehow, you know better than the people who actually do the work. Wow!

Sure they did and you were right there in the booth with them.

OHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, but WE ARE having our way. Not gonna be an easy 4 years for your boy. This is gonna be fun!

But it will be easy, seeing as how he's not the President of the liberals; so he just has to worry about his supporters and what they find important.

Getting rid of all those different gun laws, especially those in California, sounds like a good start. :D

There are certain aspects of his personality I don't like. And there are things he does, ways he acts that I don't like.

But I agreed with him on enough policy. And it was either him or Clinton.

I am not a fan of how he is treating the Russia hacking. Blowing in off, and threatening American Intel community is idiotic.

Pretty extreme.

Annoyances aren't threats. Sorry 'bout that.

Well then just tone down the incessant whining. It is hard to find good points you make when they're always couched with this irritating whine that sets my teeth on edge.

Maybe you just like to whine? You're getting some kind of "hit" or "high" off it. You have to be.

You're miserable, but not really. Why would you possibly like whining all the time? There has to be some pay off.

There are a lot of "you guys are so crazy" sentiments directed toward the lefties here. Definitely an expression that the left is way over the top, and just being "sore losers."

Can anyone on the other side explain to me what it is about Trump's personality that gives you cause to express that? How does he seem intelligent & measured to you? Is his personality somehow one that should NOT lend itself to a heightened level of concern? Is he someone that you would trust with even a small, personal situation - much less the welfare of our country & the free world?

I'm actually interested to here someone defend him as even a marginally acceptable disposition to take this office. He literally seems insane to me - someone who is completely detached from reality.

How does he not seem that way to you?

Your post is disjointed and makes little sense.

First of all, Trump could be the most competent person in the world and you would be a sore loser. I understand how hard Hillarys loss has been on you.

This is no different than calling Bush unintelligent. Are not stupid. You don't get to where they are in life being stupid.

Bush & Trump were both millionaires the instant they were born.

It's a mistake to equate financial success with intelligence. There are a lot of rich people who you would never want near the oval office.

I have to laugh at the "Trump could be the most competent person in the world..."

Dang funny!

I'm not on either side. Just happy we don't have to listen to the hildebeest as president. But it looks like she's not going away. She enjoys being in our faces.
She croaks no later than Dec. 31, 2017. You heard it here first.
