Trump’s taking over the military

Lincoln fired McClellan. Truman fired MacArthur.
There was no retirement back during the Civil War, so he would have had to take away their commissions to fire them. That would have required some sort of disciplinary hearing. Lincoln sidelined McClellan. Truman stopped deferring MacArthur's retirement

So let me get this straight this assholes doesn't like that a more qualified person is replaced by a less qualified person. How fucking ironic.

“Trump fires top US general in unprecedented Pentagon shakeup”

Not only did Trump fire the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs and several other top Generals, but he replaced General Brown with a guy who isn’t even a full General and lacks any full combat command position experience, both unprecedented. One thing though, the guy never was a TV talking head

Pretty obvious Trump is centralizing his power, negating Congress, reshaping the FBI into his own Gestapo, and here making sure the military is indiscriminately loyal to Trump and nothing else

Getting to appear by the day that MAGA America equates to reshaping America into a third world autocracy
He's the Commander in Chief, nimrod.

Lincoln replaced McClellan with Ambrose E. Burnside, and Fitz-John Porter—who would soon be court-martialed for his actions at the Second Battle of Manassas—with Joseph Hooker.

According to the Constitution who is supposed to be in charge of the military?

Remember when you leftists used to bemoan the military industrial complex? Now you are Dick Cheney neocons.

Good times

What that means is he is filling positions with people who will disregard the Constitution. He may be the CIC, but we are “The People”. They serve us.
Anybody who isn't lying to themselves about J6 is aware Trump would, if he could, use the military to stage a coup or enforce his political desires.
